metaxalone highs

I definitely miss my highs, they are literally the "highlight" of my life at times. I've not yet found the combination that stops my lows so I currently fluctuate more between stages of lows. Hanging in sure gives me sore fingers - sometimes I'm better at it than others. You are definitely not alone and glad you find this site, its a big help the vast majority of the time.

X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.

Ok so im 22 had type 1 for 13 years now. Im used to highs above 200... recently found out i was pregnant started taking better care of myself now im dropping below 50... 85% of the time. Especially at night. My endo and i adjusted my pump an such but i still have a lot of lows... and a few times highs like 300+... any other advice on what i can do or what may be causing it? I do know im extremely sensitive to the insulin too but i want to stay on top of everything...

Thanks, WaveRider, I was starting wonder about my doctor! I can't say as I understand it, though; isn't the idea to prevent highs before they happen, rather than compensate after? I thought once you have highs then they already can be doing longterm damage?

i dont have the highs and Lowe's that people with this mental condition have..but been diagnosed with it..they say there's more to it then just that..CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE VOID????????????? thanks alot......

I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

I haven't tried spanx yet. Kinda thinkin I want those for after I deliver ;) I have used the thigh highs before, but not in a while. Something makes me feel all insecure with having the undies part missing while im trying to dress up. Does that make sense? Like I dont feel like i have smooth lines underneath. Oh btw this is a theme-charity benefit thing and they are doing 'Gatsby' this year....so im already gonna feel like a flapper-cow!

hi ....I am the same with similar symptoms...and have been dx'd with Cyclothymia 2 yrs ago. I never have what I would call the 'highs' but I do have the extreme lows and alot of moody cycling. but was told my highs could be the anger/extreme frustration I some times unload with little provocation. Highs can for somepeople be excessive shopping/drinking binges/anger outburst/...etc I was put on a mood stabilizer 2 years ago as a last resort, after trying a variety of antidepressants.

Sorry, but those aren't herbal highs, they're chemical highs. If you're an anxiety sufferer, you don't want to get high, sorry, just the way it is.

hi I have been a type 1 daibetic for about 2 years know, I am 16 years old and I started out well with controling my sugar levels. but know lately I have been having highs usually in the 200's and some times in the 300's, the highest its ever gotten is 500 when I was diagnosed. I was wondering if there was a way I could keep track of my sugar levels easier. and how long does it take for high blood sugars to start causing more serious problems.

I still have big mood swings but they are more manageable and my partner tells me they have reduced dramatically since stopping drinking and drugs. I do have periods of highs but my highs and lows seem to change all day long. I do not take meds and have been told that they are not necessary. I'm very confused about weather i should be on meds, the feeling i got from the psych was that i wasn't a severe case and shoul be ok on my own. Sorry for such a long message, can anyone help?

My dad has very highs and very lows. u dont know how to approach him. whether hes in a great mood or in a bad non talkative mood. there complete opposite moods. and i have noticed sumtimes good moods will stay at a very high level 4 3 or 4 days. then drop off to very low bad moods. hes a very angry person as well and agressive. is this bipolar?

I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.

the very definition of BP is highs and lows. My major depressions were extremely deep and lasted much longer than the highs so yes, you can have major depression and be BP.

I have not read any books on it can you recommend any?

I still have mood swings where I get really angry and then I could cry for no reason, but then I will have highs where I’m just really hyperactive and can’t stop talking. I really want to know what is the matter with me?
