Hello. On Saturday, I gave and received unprotected oral sex from another man. He claimed he was disease free though he came a little bit in my mouth before I could spit it out and I'm super worried. I made myself throw up about 15 minutes afterward. I've gotten the chlamydia and gonorrhea test and they also did a blood draw for hiv, though it's too soon to detect probably. What are my chances of getting hiv and other stds?

X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.

The old standy from Flexeral causes so much sleepiness. One of the better ones that wont make you as sleepy is Metaxalone.

I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Buprenorphine and methadone are very...incompatible. Bupe is a partial-agonist I believe, and methadone is not. So if your brain's opioid receptors are used to ANY type of opiate on a regular basis? Make CERTAIN your body IS IN FULL WITHDRAWL BEFORE TAKING THE BUPRENORPHINE! Otherwise? The Bupe takes over. It kicks whatever is there OUT. The result being that you get VERY sick VERY fast!!! One person on Erowid described it as feeling like "Creeping death..." No thank you!

Hi. Finally, it sounds like someone that has a similar symptom to mine... sort of. I've asked around and no one could relate. The MANY MS Dr.'s I had seen said it didn't sound like an MS symptom (and they were the best in the state, members of nmss, speakers at neurological events, etc...) it was starting to frustrate me because no one would really try to figure it out. My last Dr. figured it out, but it took many, many complaints for her to listen and try to figure it out.

I am a 60 y.o. woman who became disabled after a transit accident 6 yrs ago. I immediately contacted my pain mgmt dr. to talk about what to do. I was panicking! What have these medications done to my unborn baby??? I weened myself off the desipramine within a week. I dropped down to taking the morphine 2x a day.

Because the experience is a few days and no drug is to be taken after treatment begins, the benzo should be low enough to CT. Erowid has the most complete research I have found. I truly believe in having a solid plan. I would call the facility and ask what a safe dose of benzo is. I would start tapering them ASAP. While there is no proof of iboga alone causing death, combined with other drugs it has caused death. Be safe and educated on all aspects of the treatment.

i tried l tryptophan, but it absorbs poorly and gave me weird mild brain shocks, but it also had this very very mild psychedelic feeling/visual thing that felt quite natural where I was more aware of the room. some guy on erowid said the same, like he became aware of the electronics in his room, not totally sure if this would be good for it though long term. anyway once again thanks for the refresh of information, my gp said to avoid 5htp, after looking into it yeah it's probably best.
