metaxalone breastfeeding

X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.

I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.

The old standy from Flexeral causes so much sleepiness. One of the better ones that wont make you as sleepy is Metaxalone.

I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Any ideas are welcome, seriously, just need some help here. Already feel like an idiot for getting this bad so don't want to go to my friends and my family are in another country.

I'm going to breastfeed, i wanted to skip the bottle all together. I'm aware that i'd have to be with my baby basically 24/7 which you have to anyways right! :) Giving up going out until your baby gets teeth isn't the biggest sacrifice. I was wondering if anyone skipped the bottle all together by just breastfeeding. Was it easy or is it harder then I think?

I ran out with my first cause the stupid midwife told me to give bub a dummy before I had breastfeeding sorted. So he wanted that instead of me and ended up not putting on weight so I had to go formula. And also even if your boobs don't feel full they probably still have milk in them. Check how your sitting too. I find I feed sitting on the couch and he empties them then if I sit up and cross my legs and lean forward a bit he all of a sudden gets heaps more.

Pregnancy will do that, not breastfeeding.

I feel like I'm breastfeeding constantly! I'll lay him down he will cry cuz he's hungry he hasn't slept since 9 this morning he will fall asleep when breastfeeding then I'll put him down nd will cry again same routine! Do I not have enough milk supply?

Yes maam your making the right choice & breastfeeding in public is normal its not like your showing your nips to the whole town.

Am I weird or crazy for being uncomfortable about breastfeeding? I am sure that is what I want and plan plan to do once my daughter is here in a few weeks. I feel like breastfeeding is very awkward and after my husband told me how it should be hidden and done only in private because if I don't use a cover I might as well be flashing everyone it really hurt my feelings and made me feel like breastfeeding is so inappropriate and dirty :( it's hard not having a supportive partner.

No. You have to do what's best for you and baby. Breastfeeding isn't for everyone. I only breastfed for 5 weeks and I just didn't like it so I stopped. Of course I felt guilty about it and felt like a bad parent but it's what worked for us and my boy is healthy.

Ok this may be a dumb question but is it still considered breastfeeding feeding if you pump and bottlefeed?
