menstrual-cycle

Avatar f tn I am 34 years old. I had a tubaligation ten years ago. I have some clips in there. The tubes are not burnt or cut. I have always had regular, heavy menstrual cycles with pretty bad cramping. Until lately. Three months ago, normal. then two weeks later a very unexpected very wierd dark brownish bleeding that was extremely lite and lasted only two and a half days. Then, went five weeks with no signs or symptoms of cycle hapning. Believed myself pregnant.
Avatar f tn OK, just watched the video clips. First thought...how on earth does ANYONE get pregnant??? There are so many technical things that have to happen "just right"!! Holy Moly!! LOL!
Avatar m tn A friend of mine had a hysterectomy a few years back, as a result of a severe endometriosis. Since this procedure, she has continued to have periods of extreme debilitating pain. Recently she had an x-ray that showed two clips that were left in her abdomen following the surgery. Oddly enough, the clips are in the EXACT same area where this pain emanates from. She has asked her OBGYN, who said that the clips are necessary and said it is doubtful that the pain would result from the clips.
1456998 tn?1285471804 the discharge Could be coincidental in nature meaning it could be just the normal discharge that goes along w/ the hormones and menstrual cycle. The discharge of an ovulating woman changes throughout the month (cycle) in preparation for ovulation to take place and the next cycle to occur. Hope some of this info helps..
Avatar f tn In December I had an endometrial ablation done and since then I have had severe back pain on my right side. The xray only shows surgical clips on that side. I'm wondering if the doctor loosened my clips from my tubal ligation that I had done 15 years ago when he did this ablation. The pain is unbearable and only started after this recent surgery. Anyone have this problem or something similar? Please help!
1617247 tn?1325473219 I am a 34 year old woman who gave birth to two sets of twins 18 months apart via C-section. I consider myself to be overall healthy and not overweight. I had the last set of twins in 1998. During the last C-section in 1998, I had gotten my tubes tied, cut, and clipped. It has now been 13 years and i can still feel the clips in me. I have a brief sharp pain every time i cough, sneeze, and sudden movements. I have had continuous tendrness in that general area on both sides of my tubes.
268356 tn?1236002604 I spend alot of time in the pregnancy forums right now. Some of us have small clips of our ultrasounds and/or audio of baby's heartbeat. It would be great if we could post these. Since they tend to take up a lot of room, some restrictions would be okay, such as size and amount of time kept on server.
695915 tn?1228665952 I just watched his video - this is Dr. Kantor's request for Pepsi and their current promotion of funding special projects, to give money for his research. He is not hesitant to jump on the bandwagon and say there is a need for more studies. He also did a number of video reports from the ECTRIMS conference in Sweden and has a number of youtube clips.
Avatar f tn I have been having my menstrual cycle for over a month now and it's starting to smell like metal or iron. I also have this pain on my right side. It's not a heavy flow but it's messing with my lifestyle. What should I do?
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar n tn I was wondering why I get so sick with my menstrual cycle, the first two days are the worst, I feel like I'm gone to pass out. Is there any I can take to prevent these sickness.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
Avatar f tn I went about 6 months without a cycle but now am in the 5th week of a menstrual cycle. I am TIRED of it and ready for it to end but no end in sight!!! Anything I can do or just tough it out knowing the end is near?? I am taking vitamins and trying to eat right but not really exercising, just don't really feel like it.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar n tn I am on day 38 of my menstrual cycle. I normally go between 26-28 days on my cycles. I have taken 2 pregnancy test with a negative result. I have NEVER missed a period without being pregnant ( 2 pregnancies). I have been taking Lexapro for the past year. I have stopped cold turkey due to was not sure if I was pregnant. My concern is not having a period with a negative result on a pregnancy test. I have been feeling dizzy, small cramps, tired, and moody. I am so confused. Anyone have any input?
Avatar f tn Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
