I had a miscarriage back in 2011. I had to keep getting my blood treated every week after because to see if my pregnancy hormones went away. Every since then i have been having irregular cycles. I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. My hunch is, if you are exposed to viruses aroind or just before your immune system takes a nap, you get sick because you dont have what you need to defend yourself until your immune system rebuilds over the next week of your cycle. What helps me...take otc sleep meds to stay rested that week, hand sanitize constantly, and keep my work/home well washed and cleaned. If I slip up and slack off, I get sick.
It's so hard to say what's normal, because every woman and every pregnancy is different. I had two pregnancies before I did my IVF that both ended in a miscarriage, but I had more pregnancy symptoms in those cycles than I did after my IVF. My breasts were just barely tender in my IVF cycle (not even as tender as in a normal non-pregnancy cycle), yet this ended up being my successful pregnancy! So I wouldn't worry too much about the soreness. Fingers crossed!!!

Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
