I am almost 19 weeks and I have no sex drive whatsoever. It doesn't hurt or anything, I just can't seem to enjoy it at all. It has become a chore when I do it to keep my significant other happy. Even sex can become a back seat. Other than a medical condition for his lose of his sex drive, men get used to having sex with the same person. Its not that they want to cheat or have an affair its like eating the same thing every night. If this is the only type of food available (as in being married) they will eat it but nonetheless its something they get used to.
I posted a few days ago about being a single mom. Well he decided to come back. An my family is being more nice than they were. But I really feel like ne an him r on two different pages. Hes still attracted to you. Some men just feel weird knowing theres a baby in your stomach now. Maybe reasure him everything okay. I had the same problem but all it was, was him being scared he was hurting the baby.
For about the first trimester I had a normal if not maybe a bit higher sex drive, through the second trimester I didn't want it all. I just had no urges and didn't even think about sex. I am now in my third trimester and it's seriously like someone flicked a switch and it's pretty much all I think about. To the point that I get distracted at work day dreaming...is this normal?

We talked and he told me his desire for sex is about 3-5 times a day. He has a very high sex drive that he even expresses it at night without realizing it. However, my own sex drive is pretty much 0 right now. I get a desire here and there, but very few. I need to know if there is something wrong with me, or what could be causing such a problem, and how we can work with it.

I still have no physical interest in sex. I'm attracted to men and desire sex, but I have little or no physical drive. I have zero sex drive as well. I find my husband extremely attractive and we've always been very active. But since I got pregnant I just haven't had any interest. It started to really affect him. I seem to be in the minority here. I had a bigger sex drive while on the pills. I had a huge sex drive before the pills but when I was on vicodin my sex drive increased. Now that I'm 27 days clean it has pretty much become non existent. I want it back!! It does come back right? Anyone else find that they had better sex drives while taking opiates?
Shelby, my guess is your husband understands and forgives this. I mean, look at you in the mirror. He must understand that you are struggling physically.
It sounds like your husband is a great guy. My husband is a great guy too, and wouldn't have insisted on sex in the last trimester.
Later, after you've delivered it's not clear that your sex drive will come back right away. I'm just saying that from experience.
I give myself prscribed shot of testosterone twice a month which definitly brings back your sex drive but sex drive if you cant get an erection is probably worst that not having it, so I also take prescribed Viagra on occasion.Sounds like a hastle but put my performance and satisfaction to where it was when I was 25. That makes it worth it. Get testosterone levels checked. Simple blood test. There are gels and patches but the shgots work best.
