Common Questions and Answers about Meloxicam for toothache

Avatar f tn Hi there, The best pain killer for toothache is a NSAID like ibuprofen as long as a person does not have any medical contra-indications to it. Meloxicam is usually used in conditions like ankylosing spondylitis; rheumatoid arthritis etc.How effective it will be in toothaches should be confirmed by your dentist. Treatment of the cause of tooth pain is very important. Do keep me posted. Take care and regards!
Avatar f tn I haven't told anybody, besides a friend, couldn't bring myself to tell my boufriend, he did notice I was taking a large amount but I lied and said it was for a toothache, terrible but they control you, you can do it :) I promise! It's hard but you have your husband and everyone on here to support you!
Avatar f tn He took blood the first day but I don't know if it was tested for 5ths. Everything else he said looked okay for the results. I'll let you know what happens today.
Avatar n tn I recently (two weeks ago) had microscopic back surgery. Although the surgical procedure was successful, I believe I am now paying the BIG price for those "wonderful" little pills that "held me over" in the interim for the severe pre-op pain that I experienced as well as the short period of post-op pain that I endured. I was prescribed Tylenol#3, Lortab 7.5, Lortab 10 and Percocet and LOTS of it. I was legitimately in a GREAT deal of pain!
Avatar n tn I have suffered on & off for years with this. X ray & examination showed nothing. I am fit & healthy normally. It can be gone for years & then come back & stay for months. The pain is very sharp & brief & then goes without leaving any pain behind. It makes my eyes water the pain is so sharp. No rhyme or reason for the attacks.................. Anyone, any Ideas!!!!!
Avatar n tn In February of this year I got a CT scan and the ENT doctor said I have a severe deviated septum with chronic sinusitis. I was treated for a sinus infection and that was it. I still felt bad so I went to a neurologist. He wrote it off as a vestibular problem. I did vestibular therapy for 2 months with almost no relief. In May when allergy season started, everything got worse. I have had nonstop sinus pressure/pain, headache, dizziness, major eye strain, my face is sore, my teeth are sore.
Avatar n tn I'm sorta' familiar w/ your problem. Use to play ALOT of tennis & eventually damaged rotator-cuff but have an idea of your muscle pain that extends from 'middle trapezius'? I'm surprised you get relief w/ Ibu. Guess it wks for some for the inflamm. Never did a thing for me. Only ice-paks & 1/2 lortab-7 (narcotic) & at bed a whole. They sell a clay-filled type flat cool-pack that lasts 3xlonger than ice by KAZ. It's great at the scapula area.
Avatar m tn Hi, my husband has suffered this same problem for I know at least four years now, and it doesn't matter what he eats or when. He may be fine for a day a week or a month, and then all the sudden he says he feels like he's weak and dizzy and feels like someone is poking his heart with a needle, his arm near his arm pit with hurt. He burps alot and it releaves some of the discomfort. Various other things as well. Generally he said he gets a "funny" feeling throughout his body.
