Benzoyl peroxide is effective for active acne lesions.Since now you are left only with scars which are a result of scratching, so they are post inflammatory hyperpigmentation scars.The treatment is the same as advised.

It left a couple scars so about 3 months ago i started putting mederma on them. I applied the mederma for about 5 weeks before i found out that your not supposed to do that which is when i stopped. The skin began splitting around the area where the mederma was applied (the tip of the penis and the skin directly below it). Now the scars are much worse, new ones have appeared, and now pretty much the entire upper half of my penis is red and brown with mild scars.
I was thinking of applying Mederma but wanted a quick fix and thought of laser surgery. The scars are pretty bad and it's a lot, making me self-conscious and made my confidence really low. I guess I will have to see a dermatologist so they can see my scars, but for now, I will do as you suggested and just apply moisturizer with vit E.

Mederma for scars, an aloe vera plant and the seemingly new bio-oil, I have a problem though, the mederma is running out very fast because of the amount of scars I'm treating. So my senses tell me I should use the mederma on my keloid only and use the aloe vera on my burns. The burns are about 2 months old, Is it too late for the aloe vera, I've heard aloe vera only works on fresh burns?
Items such as Neosporin Scarring solution, creams with aloe vera, cocoa butter and Mederma are examples of creams that are used to reduce the visibility of scars. For example, Mederma® Skin Care for Scars, on existing scars, it is recommended to use 3-4 times a day for 3-6 months for optimal reduction of visibility.
Believe me unless they are extremely huge you are probably the only one who really notices. However, if you really want your scars to go away the best thing for them is to use Mederma scar gel. I had horrible scars from gallbladder surgery. I followed the instructions and it looks like they were never there. It is somewhat expensive but you can get it at most drug stores or at Wal-Mart. Or you can try vitamin E oil. But I would try the Mederma first.

After cysts have mostly healed, macules, or "pseudo scars" may form. Macules are red patches of skin, sometimes raised slightly, where cysts used to be, and may resemble cysts in their appearance.
Anything you use won't show results right away, it takes time for scars to fade. When I say time I mean years. I know how it feels, ones after accidently biting my lip i had a scar for long. It was like a little red spot but know you can hardly see I ever had one.
I used Tea tree gel, marigold gel and this really helped me a lot. As I said it takes time.
Also in winter time when your lips get chapped and dry don't put anything on them that's like a natural pilling.
Some of the scars I received after mandatory vaccination injections and others began growing after acne infections.
My keloids are temperamental. Some days they are peaceful, and others they stab, itch or burn with vengence. I have spent many nights tossing the turning unable to get a good nights sleep and more than enough days unable to focus because of the pain.
Like everyone who lives with keloids, I've learned to adapt.
A little background here, I'm 16 and I used to self harm so I know a lot about how my body scars. Recently I scar so easily like I got a bug bite and it scared, I skinned my knee falling down and it scared. I didn't pick at them or anything and yet they scared. I got scraped by a rose bush and not only did it scar but the scars are still purple and this happened 4 months ago!
