t deep or anything they just make the skin look red like scars from mild acne. The splitting of the skin has pretty much healed up completely but the scars are still there. Theres an annoying blister on there too. My question is: is it possible to get any laster treatment or or pulsed light or dermabrasion or anything on my penis to help with the scarring? A pamphlet for Palomar pulsed light says it can be performed anywhere on the body except around the eyes.

For years, I've had this OCD-like symptom of being compelled to pick at my skin-- at scabs, acne, dry skin, etc. I know that it's gross, and I know that lots of people pick at their acne to some extent, but I do so more than most people. It's an obsessive thing that I feel like I can't really help. Over the years, I've obtained many scars from this awful habit. I'm pretty ashamed. Just a boil. I have one near my groin too. First got it after puberty sometime. I'm 30, and it's filled up again maybe, I dunno, 4 times since then. Mederma for scars, an aloe vera plant and the seemingly new bio-oil, I have a problem though, the mederma is running out very fast because of the amount of scars I'm treating. So my senses tell me I should use the mederma on my keloid only and use the aloe vera on my burns. t think about. There is a cream called Mederma that is supposed to smooth out scars. You could try that. A dermatologist could offer more to smooth out the edges for you, but remember that you see them more than anybody else.

you should use Mederma for scars, over time it will help lighten the color of the scar making it less noticeable , but it may always be raised.

A little background here, I'm 16 and I used to self harm so I know a lot about how my body scars. Recently I scar so easily like I got a bug bite and it scared, I skinned my knee falling down and it scared. I didn't pick at them or anything and yet they scared. I got scraped by a rose bush and not only did it scar but the scars are still purple and this happened 4 months ago!

Mederma is really good to use to speed it up I have nasty scars from working with animals and playing sports and mederma faded then to wear u have to stare at the area to actually see them.

LMAO,good one PK. Mederma is for scars specifically and works better on new ones...just rub a tiny bit on the spot every day. It helped the scar on my leg...it didn't totally disappear. I was lucky...never had a stretch mark, not sure why. I was thinking they make something specifically for stretch marks, but not the cocoa butter. The Vit E might work best of all.
