Avatar f tn does either imitrex or maxalt contain caffeine? I was taking Maxalt for migraines and it worked great! Now my insurance has decided I need to try Imitrex before they will approve coverage for the Maxalt. The Imitrex took about 2 hours to have any effect, but eventually my headache subsided. Since then I have had recurring headaches for 4 days.
Avatar f tn I have migraines about every other day, and take 5mg maxalt for them. I was just given Remeron for depression, as the doc said i cannot take any SSRI's because of serotonin syndrome. I cannot find and interactions for Remeron, but just wondering if anyone else has tried these together. Any info appreciated.
Avatar f tn m going to assume the later). Maxalt is available in a regular tablet form and an oral dissentigrating (ODT) form. The regular tablet form is now available in generic and is fairly cheap. If you received the brand name only ODT version then I would make sure the MD writes for only generic drugs and ask the pharmacist (who should have mentioned it came in generic in a different formulation) if there is something similar that the MD can change it to before you pay a lot for a RX.
Avatar f tn I had an allergic reaction to zoloft about a week ago and it amped up my anxiety. So ive been taking .5mg lorazepams when needed. I used to be on 150mg bupropion but stopped when i got pregnant. Anyways Im scared now to take them both at the same time. I have post pardum depression and ive been exercising to help but its not fully helping. Any thoughts? The Zoloft reaction was the worse thing ive ever experienced with medicine. Severe hot flushes for over 24 hours.
Avatar f tn Before, my regular routine was taking the zoloft first and my anxiety took over and always made me so nervous in the mornings I would have to take the clonazepam shortly after the zoloft. Is there something stronger than zoloft that may help my severe anxiety better? Thank you so much.
Avatar f tn Also, my symtoms don't exactly match the standard either, but after going to a Headache clinic I was confirmed as having migraines-the pain is on either the left or right front of my forehead never goes beyond the ears and can be a real pain unless I catch them at the beginning, if wake up with "full blown" it becomes a race btw the Maxalt and the migraine, I have had anywhere from 15-18 per month, also have to use strong coffee and ice pack or it's just a waste of the Maxalt a
20632981 tn?1503687567 re taking wellbutrin and Zoloft together and think the wellbutrin is working but not the Zoloft. See my response to your other post for my thoughts about this, but you do need to clear up the confusion as to what you're doing now so people here can help better.
Avatar f tn After recovering from breast cancer, I was prescribed a series of medications to treat depression and anxiety. I was put on Zoloft at first and then switched a few years ago to 40mg of Paxil along with 25mg of Xanax daily. I still feel anxiety and depression, however, and am afraid these drugs no longer work or that I have become immune to their effects. Should I be expecting the dosages of these medications to change over time? Is it normal to prescribe these drugs together?
Avatar f tn I went to the neurologist yesterdayand they have now ordered and MRI brain scan set for 3:30 this afternoon. They also gave me nortryptaline and maxalt to take instead of the fioricet that I've been taking. The maxalt worked right away, but I did wake up later on last night with a headache again. I go back to the neurologist next month for a follow-up.
Avatar m tn I'm taking 300mg of wellbutrin,it is not doing the job alone. My doctor said zoloft and wellbutrin are compatible I'm going to add per his advice 50mg of zoloft I really hope this will make some difference. Just like some feed back on this.
Avatar f tn We are all different and we all react differently. I CAN speak for myself..........I took Zoloft and Xanax together for several years and never had a problem. But that was ME. I am not anti medication, but I DO believe too many doctors are in too big of a hurry to throw meds at us that we really don't need.....which then turns into a slippery slope.............my advice to you is to give this a little more time.
Avatar m tn ve been in recovery for ten years, andas long as iIhad someone to hold my hand, support me and my habit and agree when the world was against me, why clean up. Again, great advice and good luck. I know you love them but this is best. At the rate your currently going, you'll love her into the ground, where my brother is. (I know that is harsh but it's the awful truth of addiction. Jails, institutions, and death.
Avatar m tn Ok, since I started having bad anxiety three months ago and I started taking Zoloft a month ago I have lost 10 pounds. Now, I have stopped lifting weights 3 months ago and stopped taking supplements. That could explain 4 pounds maybe.... But, does Zoloft make you loose weight...I mean I have been eating like crap to put on weight. Twinkies, Zebra Cakes, and other junk food... Not putting on weight. Does Zoloft cause weight loss?
Avatar n tn Tinnitus is another thing all together and your Dad may have to go to an ear specialist and be administered special earing tests. My Dad had (before he died) Tinnitus which he got around age 60. Anyhow, why was your Dad placed on Zoloft to begin with? ...Depression, panic attacks, anxiety?
Avatar f tn Maybe that's why my doc put me on Clonipin along with the Zoloft. Together they are working well for me and it's just been a week. I think she's trying to say that just having the IBS is making her depressed. Pain can really do that to you, as it's done to me. I've been on pain management for 4 years and depression is just now sneaking up on me. You know, you feel bad from the pain, but your family, etc.
Avatar m tn Yes...everything avis said. Please don't take Tramadol and Zoloft together. That is very dangerous! I am almost a week off of them right now. It has been a rough week, but it's doable. Please talk to your doc for help. It will be easier and safer!
219373 tn?1274921434 she was taken off the adderall and has not been doing nearly as well. we tried zoloft and that made her manic and so now she is on paxil but it does not seem to be doing her any good. i have been trying to get the psychiatrist to agree to put her back on the adderall which seemed to work for her but he will not let her go back on it. even her behavioral therapist wants her to be on it but the doc still says no. is it possible that she also has ADD that is covered by the asperger symptoms??
