It's normal for a woman to go through more than one miscarriage while trying to conceive. Usually does not mean anything is wrong with you, just that your body recongnized something was wrong with the pregnancy itself. There are times where the woman has some sort of issues, but that is usually discovered after multiple miscarriages. (More than 2-3).
A normal, healthy couple with no known fertility issues has a 20% chance of conceiving each month, If you are going to ovulate within the next 12 days, then your chance is as good as anyone else. If you aren't tracking your ovulation, just have sex as often as you can before he leaves.
It does take a while to conceive so don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. How long is your cycle? You can usually count back 14 days from the first day of your last period (April 14th) to see how far into your cycle you had ovulated around. It's not 14 days for everyone though. Read up on it and educate yourself on how to pinpoint your ovulation and you might have better luck.
I am not familiar with hyperinsulinaemia, but if you don't have a period, you can't get pregnant. Your period is basically a result of ovulation, so if there's no period, you're not ovulating....and if you're not ovulating, you can't get pregnant. Why do you not want to take metformin? If metformin regulates your cycles and helps you ovulate, I would think this is your best bet if you want to get pregnant.
Have been trying to conceive for 8+ months now- both me and my husband are healthy 26 year olds. Never was on birth control. This has been the most difficult time for me. So many of our friends and family have become pregnant the past year. It's so difficult to deal with- I feel awful for being jealous! We have begun charting and doing OTK to pinpoint exactly when the ideal time is. I should be getting my period on Dec 2nd- so far, all HPTs came back negative. Is this too soon to test?
I've been trying to conceive for a few months now, I stopped Depo-Provera at the beginning of August & switched to Ortho-cyclen birth control pills but Im not longer taking them, I've only had one period since stopping birth control Aug. 29,2013 & I had intercourse Sept. 28, 2013.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do to help us speed up the process? We've been trying for a while now & it's been a roller coaster! Been to the doctor and everything is good for us both but still baby!
