Macrobid is the safest antibiotic durning pregnancy... It has no side effects during pregnancy, I took it when I was 5weeks and the Dr, so the pharmacy tech advice it was safe!!!

i would just like to hear if anyone eles has taken this medication for a uti and if they had any side effects with it? i tryed to look for infromation on the net about it but there were to many mixed reviews on this... or is there any other safer drugs you've take for uti's?

that dissipated and headache nausea began. as hgl went down fatigue and weakness/breathlessness began. when nausea ended just a loss of appetite and lost taste buds appeared. skin issues did not show til well into treatment and have remained. arthritis pain showed up about week 15. my journal tracks most of this should u care to look. just remember everyone is different. i have had alot of the sx but none debilitating as i asked the folks here what to do and i followed their advice.

Has anyone been prescribed Macrobid for a UTI and had some really awful side affects?? Ive got a terrible headache and some awful nausea.. not to mention body aches. Just wondering.. Im considering taking benadryl in case Im just having some sort of reaction. What do you guys think?

I know exactly what you're going through...I have a history of kidney stones and UTI (with pregnancy and without) and I went in for blood in my urine and back pain...and they said that my urine was clear (no infection) and everything else looked fine..but that because of the blood they prescribed macrobid as a preventative. I did NOT take it, and I think I should have.

I have been on Sovaldi, Olysio and Riboviron for 4 weeks. I am finding that I feel very poorly with a laundry list of noxious symptoms. I feel very alone since my docs said that the side effect profile would be very tolerable. Many years ago I was on interferon and riboviron but could not tolerate the tx. I don't know if it is the roboviron that is causing the side effects. At this point I am pretty much bed-ridden. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience?

So today my Celexa dose was upped from half a pill to 1 whole pill and the side effects are coming back like when I first started... Sweaty, can't sleep, headache, stiff neck, clenching teeth... Etc.
