During my one-week post-op checkup following bilateral explantation of Visian intraocular lenses, my opthalmologist commented that I have contusions (I assume bruising) on my anterior capsule in my right eye. I experience more blurriness and haziness in this eye in general, as well as starbursts from light sources. Any explanation of what exactly this means clinically and prognostically would be appreciated.
I have opened the capsule and had to mix the contents of it with apple sauce. I would like to know if this is ok, since I could not find any other referrence for my question.
DOES MACROBID CAUSE BLEEDING OR MAKE YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE COME EARLY. I JUST FINISHED MACROBID 7 DAY TREATMENT. MY MENSTRUAL CAME 3 DAYS EARLY AND THERE IS BRIGHT RED BLOOD AND USUALLY MY MENSTRUAL BLOOD IS NOT THAT BRIGHT. I INITIIALLY WASNT DUE FOR MY MENSTRUAL UNTIL YESTERDAY I'VE BEEN BLEEDING SINCE THE 3RD AND IM STILL BLEEDING BUT NOT ALOT LIKE I WAS YESTERDAY AND THE DAYS BEFORE BUT THE BLEEDING HAS LIGHTENED.

It starts out like a red discoloration on the skin and progresses to small open sores, not blisters. She had a severe allergic reaction to levaquin back in september, but recent rash did not begin until feb. She was taking macrobid for kidney infection in jan. but rash did not begin until feb. she has seen primary care, infectious disease control and allergy doctos and none of them can tell her what it is or what causes it.
I do know that the weakness and numbness in one side can be caused by the MS, but it did not occur until i took the macrobid. I was stopped from taking the macrobid and started on it 2 more times and each time the weakness returned. Is there anyway to fix this? It is getting rather annoying and saddens me cause it feels like i cant do anymore what i like to. If anyone has had the same thing happen, please let me know im not alone... How can the weakness and numbness be stopped.

Did anyone take macrobid for uti during third trimester?
Uti or bladder infection. My doctor proscribed me macrobid. Terrified to take it, anyone else had to use this while pregnant, I'm only 8 weeks!
Has anyone been perscribed, or taken macrobid at the ens of there pregnancy? I was proscribed it. I habe two different drs and im.being induced monday. And it DIRECTLY states dont use it 37 weeks or later or close to delivery. .. im scared and this pregnancy is so freaking hard on me. Im getting to the point of giving up. And i dont want to cause my boy and family need me to fight.

I'm 10 weeks and I have a UTI. ER doctor prescribed me Macrobid 100mg BID for ten days. Have any one taken this while pregnant? I googled it, and there were a lot of horror stories......just curious to see if others have taken, and there pregnancy remained normal...
Also been tested for bv and yeast many times, usually negative yet symptoms continue to persist even after antibiotics usually Macrobid or Keflex. I usually feel better after antibiotics but a week later the symptoms will return.

I was on macrobid for a UTI at the time of collection (started on macrobid Saturday, had 4 doses by the time of collection on Monday morning, blood work as fasting so last dose taken before blood collection was over 12 hours previously). I've been told I have a UTI and was given Macrobid/Nitrofurantoin. I have taken 3 tablets but out of curiosity I looked them up on the internet and it said some women have lost their babies days after taking the tablets.

Is either proteus mirabilis or proteus vulgaris resistant to macrobid? I have a UTI that is resistant to macrobid and my doctor mentioned one of the above as the cause--I believe. I had to switch to another antibiotic. Just curious?
1. what is the 'capsule' referred to in cataract posts. Is it the recess into which the implant is inserted?
2. post-op blurring can be either in the capsule or in the implant, I read. YAG laser clears both?
3. How is it that a plastic implant can get a cloudy spot?
I am currently going through some complications and have an open wound... the exact cause is unknown... but I have been trying to limit my upper arm movement to suppress fluid build up.
In that case, I cannot do much exercise or massage or compression as you can imagine... as I need to let the open wound (just below my crease) heal first...
In your opinion, what other things I can do to help prevent future capsular contracture or to loosen the capsules forming?
