i just ordered a new pair of glasses with the transition lenses but they told me those are not really sunglasses but hoping it might help a little... does anyone have any ideas how to relieve this, preferably a natural way i dont want to take anymore prescription meds haha ..... i am wearing sunglasses over my glasses outside right now and it is still bad...

He mentioned that I had a lot of protein build up on my contacts and did a stain and he said I had dry eye. He prescribed Lotemax .05 as a first step therapy. Being fearful of steriods, he said that this is a mild steriod and hasn't had anyone have any problems with it. He said it's completely safe. Well, one month later, he informs me that I have cataracts (posterior subcapsular cataracts) and that they are a .5 on a scale of 1-4.

What are the difference between ordinary lenses and hybrid contact lenses?

I do not want to wear contact lenses constantly but was wondering whether you can get some contact lenses for a one-off use on a special occasion. This may seem silly but I really want to go to MCM London cosplaying but most characters don't wear glasses, so, like I said, I want to find out whether there is such thing as one-off contact lenses just so I have a wider choice. Sorry for the silly question and thanks for the time.

I think you have an allergy with contact lenses. Stop wearing contacts & continue with glasses, this may help cornea to heal faster.

Hi all, I have a question about my contact lenses. I'll try to be as thorough as possible. I've been wearing monthly soft contact lenses for 7 years to correct myopia (-4.25 left, -3.75 right, slight astigmatism in the left eye). I'm 26 and male. Occasionally I neglected proper care by not washing my hands or wearing them beyond a month but that was the exception. Ordinarily I didn't wear them beyond the prescribed periods, nor did I sleep with them in.

The power changes for the contact lenses will not help or hurt your eyes. The real question is which variation is most comfortable to you. Most patients do well with the lenses which best correct both eyes individually. However, if one has become used to better vision in one eye or the other, it can be an odd feeling to actually have the other eye "see better".

But When i Bring it from Drawer its Completly get dried. then i filled solution in the lense case and in 1 day lence got ready as new one...... I try to only wear my contact lenses as little as possible, maybe 6-8 hours a day or if I know I'm not going out at all, I'll skip wearing my contact lenses for the day and I make sure they get cleaned daily regardless of wearing them or not. Recently I gave my eyes a "break" for a couple of days, after the second day, I wore my contact lenses as usual and by the end of the day my eyes were red and watery almost as if they were infected.

hi. i wear dailies contact lenses only on special occasions. today i tried them on and i realized that i couldn't see very well far away, like reading signs because it was blurry. i made sure that i took proper steps and handled them with care but my vision was still blurry far away. i took them off and tried on my glasses and could see perfectly normal again. why would i see better with glasses then contacts. i have focus dailies with aquacomfort plus.

Even though there might have been blood on the door knob and touched it and then put on my contact lenses, there is still no chance of infection if my friend would be infected. Again thank you.

Just recently learned I need corrective lenses. I am very interested in wearing contact lenses, however the Rx the doc gave me made my vision worse than not wearing corrective lenses at all. Wearing my new glasses improves my eyesight, but I would much prefer the contacts. I had no issues whatsoever putting contacts in, taking them out, nor did they bother me in the least, when they were in (other than blurry vision). Is there anything I can do so that I can wear contacts? Different Brand? GP?

I am assuming that you are NOT sleeping in your contact lenses. Elestat and Alrex are mild anti-allergy eye drops but usually effective if the problem is actually allergies. If you continue not to respond to allergy treatment your ophthalmologist should begin to consider other conditions like dry eyes.

He said it is possible that I am developing intolerance to contact lenses. I have had GPC twice in the past (though not anytime recently). Is it possible that I may be destined to stop wearing contact lenses for good? Can some people immune systems simply continue to react to any/all lenses?

Contacts are very safe i would recommend getting them from a eye doctor to make sure your getting everthing coorect

When you wear ill fitting contacts the cornea becomes numb as a protective mechanism. When you take them out over several hours the feeling returns and it causes pain and dilation of the eye blood vessels giving the bloodshot look. I have no idea about your replacement sources for contacts.

I think preferably before getting a contact lenses we should go through the prescription of the lenses. So i prefer you going through CContact Lenses Prescription first. Thanks.

These appear darker than real blue eyes and the underlying brown iris is still visible around the pupil. Is there any other brand of contact lenses that will completely cover the iris?
