So my doctor gave me Loisterin FE, which i've been taking for the past two months. Throughout those 2 months i noticed a white, cheesy discharge and some itching. It answered to all yeast infection symptoms, but when I went to the doctor again, he completely disregarded my concern about the connection. I used Monistat and it didn't help, I used Gynazole, and I had a bloody discharge with gushes of blood. The discharge is still there.
ve been tested for both chlamydia and gonorrhea, both came back negative. I have a history of on and off yeast infections. I am currently taking Lo Loestrin Fe. I noticed a green discharge on some toilet paper I used the other day. It was mucus-like, stringy, and odorless. I've been having a bit of vaginal itching on and off (both inside the vagina and outside) and I have no idea what could be going on. I'm hoping the discharge is just something that happens with birth control pills.
I have been taking Loestrin 24fe for about a year, I have had increased amount of discharge that is white, kind of creamy and has a little odor to it. I have recently been checked by doctor to find out what is going on: nothing found, no yeast, no bacteria, no std. He has had me trying douching with different things and nothing seems to be working and I feel like I am putting my body through more by doing this, could this be my birth control?
Yea I remember my partner had a yeast infection and had no clue, until her pap. I'm hoping thats the case for her pap ina week. I'm hoping its a yeast infection since its treatable.. but my treatments aint treating it lol, sadly. Genital warts sound like it with the itching and burning but as far as bumps or califlowers, na uh. Wish I had an answer. But I noticed symptoms started a week after my little...slip.
BUT from March 20-30 I took antibiotics for a sinus infection. I was still on Loestrin but I stopped taking it March 29th because I hadn't had my period since January 5th and I was feeling pregnant. Anyway, I started bleeding April 1-4. I started my new pills Ortho on April 6th. Now I'm feeling VERY CRAMPY in my stomach. I've just read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill because it is low estrogen. I'm just wondering...
I was on Loestrin 24 Fe for 5 months but my doctor switched me to Lo Loestrin 24 Fe because she thought I needed a lower dose, as I kept getting recurring yeast infections. The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack.
If so, this may indicate a serve yeast infestion which has elevated into candida. Candida is when there are more yeast then normal. Your body needs some yeast, but its a delicate balance between yeast and bacteria. Other symptons of candida include a white coloring to your tongue and possibly slight bowel irregularity. From what i hear, if you have full blown candida, Diflucan might not be enough by itself. There are certain natural type things that may help.
i was put on the birthcontrol called loestrin. ive been on loestrin for a little over 6 months now and all of a sudden one day i couldnt have sex anymore because it hurt so much. as time passed this pain went away but now as of today just him inserting it for one second and then all of a sudden ever since it has hurt to pee.why is this?

At first, I thought it was a mild yeast infection (as I had had one before) and went in to the doctor, they didn't take a look at it, but gave me the 2 pill Diflucan pack, which I took both as scheduled. It didn't clear anything up, and afterwards I got the tears in my perineum.

Recently I had brief unprotected sex with a friend of mine [the condom broke]. Afterwards, I developed a yeast infection which turned into bacterial vaginosis [something very common for me, happens to me a lot after I have sex]. I had sex again, while I still had the infection [stupid decision, I know, but I was starting to feel a lot better after treatment] and I bled very heavily during sex.
I recently started taking Loestrin 24. I started experiencing light bleeding during sex which lasts for a day or 2 then stops, but then occurs again the next time. It only happens during/after sex. I've never had this happen before. There was nothing abnormal when I had my check up and was given the prescription. Has anyone ever heard of this happening with this brand?
I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
Hi there. Well, could be a yeast infection/overgrowth, yes. If you have never been diagnosed for a yeast infection, I would go the first time to your doctor to confirm. They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.
Let your OB know because many times its hard to tell the difference between bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection.
Hi, i have been on lo loestrin fe for 1 month. Today i am taking second brown pill, which is also the last one...i feel menstrual pain for a few days, but no menstruation. I am worried! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?
