Some women are more likely to have frequent yeast infections. Like me for example, and I don't take birth control. I take diflucan every month to every two months. LOL just try keeping the area dry, cotton panties are good, no scented soaps or tampons. No scented lotions or liners and maybe changing your birth control would help also. Just remember it could always be worse.

I noticed a green discharge on some toilet paper I used the other day. It was mucus-like, stringy, and odorless. I'm hoping the discharge is just something that happens with birth control pills.
I was on Loestrin 24 Fe for 5 months but my doctor switched me to Lo Loestrin 24 Fe because she thought I needed a lower dose, as I kept getting recurring yeast infections. The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack.

It sounds like a good possibility of being chlamydia or gonorrhea. And yeast infections do not turn in to bacterial vaginosis. There is a balance of bacteria and yeast in the vagina. When one outgrows the other, that is when you have the condition. Yeast does not turn into bacteria.
Now, if you have missed pills, you can have breakthrough bleeding that could resemble an early period.
ve been taking for the past two months. Throughout those 2 months i noticed a white, cheesy discharge and some itching. It answered to all yeast infection symptoms, but when I went to the doctor again, he completely disregarded my concern about the connection. I used Monistat and it didn't help, I used Gynazole, and I had a bloody discharge with gushes of blood. The discharge is still there.
Anyway, I do not think it is an STD. Apparently, yeast infections can be terrible to treat. I got a full UTI test and it came back clean. I am on oxistat and it should be working, but, as far as I am concerned, it isn't. I recommend going to see a dermatologist. That is going to also be my next step.
If you look up the symptoms of other types of STDs none of them actually match what you and I are describing.

I've heard you can take monistat for a yeast infection. But I would talk to your doctor first. Treatment for a yeast is different than bacterial, and you should make sure you don't have any other complications before starting something.
I used to get yeast infections every time I had intercourse. The only way I was able to stop this from happening was by douching with a vinegar and water rinse right after having sex. It was a major inconvenience but it definitely stopped the ongoing yeast infections. And on those occasions when I was too "lazy" or "relaxed" to get up and douche, the infection would return without fail. A vinegar douche really does help, but it is a major "mood disrupter.
You cant have vaginal sex and then go right to anal sex or vice versa. Its not healthy and it brings bacteria. The yeast infection you probably had, but had sex with your husband anyways before getting treated and then you keep passing to each other. That happened with me and BF. But...if you have no signs of a yeast infection, then your husband is the one that needs to go to the doctor to get medicine to clear it up.

t happen all the times but most times when I am dry. I am 32 years old and he is 49 I have went to the doctor and I keep getting yeast infections. I use the over the counter meds fr it and sometimes the doctor prescribes me creams but it keeps coming back. Is it coming back because I gave it to him and he brings it back to me each time? Douching upsets the natural balance of bacteria and yeast in your vagina and will cause infections.
2. Avoid bread and sugary foods as much as possible. If there is yeast in your vagina it is in the rest of your body too and sugar will just feed it.
3. Use condoms if you have sex. You CAN give a yeast infection to a guy (they usually get no symptoms) and then he will just keep passing it back to you.
