loestrin and missed periods

Two missed periods and negative blood test. All while on birth control (Loestrin 24 started bills on 10/23 first sign of bleeding). Can I be pregnant? Thyroid and anemia test are negative.

s alright but I go on and off with periods. Sometimes it starts with the white pills and sometimes the red and sometimes not at all. I also have bleeding during my second week for about 3 days. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant? Should I be worried?

I have never missed a pill, but I guess I could just be being paranoid. Loestrin gives me VERY VERY light periods anyway, and I've heard that even skipping a period on Loestrin is normal. I have taken my first inactive pill today so I guess I just need to wait it out instead of jumping the gun with paranoia. Thanks so much for your reply!

I'm 23 and on birth control (Loestrin 24). Normally my periods are somewhat regular, but really light and short. Last month I didn't have one, but I did have some slight spotting before my period was supposed to come. This month my period also skipped. I have no other symptoms of PCOS except some acne on my chin (but occasional breakouts are not uncommon for me, I have oily skin, plus an expired skin product and eating wheat with my allergy may have caused this).

I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe. I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.

ve been on loestrin 30 for over a year, and I started taking the pill to control mood swings and to get lighter periods. For several months my periods have been really light and only lasted 2-3 days, and this month I finished taking my pills on Friday 19th, and 4 days later I still haven't got my period. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for a few months, but I always took the pills at the right time, and very rarely missed one anymore.

My gf missed her first period on her second month on Loestrin. We freaked out cause we thought she was pregnant. Took a pregnancy test twice a week after she had missed her perdiod. This month she is late again and now worried again, thought haven't been intimate this last month.

Is she preggo even while using a regular thermometer? Is this an indicator? Oh, btw, her last cycle was March 28th and ended April 1 but was very light. She has regular periods but had recently been taking antibiotics. She is due for her new cycle 4/22. What do ya'll think??

Since I have been on the pill, I have had monthly 3 day periods that are relatively light. I try and take the pills at the same time every night, but there are some times when I forget and either take the pill a couple of hours later or the next day. This past month my period was only about a day and a half long, if that. It was so light that I could have probably worn a panty liner and gotten through my entire period wearing that. I am worried I could be pregnant.

The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack. However, I just finished my placebo pills (inactive pills) for the month and I have not gotten my period.

I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????

Hi! Loestrin is a very low dose pill, and sometimes after you have been on it for awhile, the lining of the uterus gets very thin and bleeding becomes irregular. OR this could be a one time only thing, especially if you missed a pill or took one late. I would tell my patient to wait and see and if it happens regularly, you may need to swtich pills for awhile. t had my period in those last four months. I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. Is it normal to miss your period for that long after starting birth control or specifically lo loestrin fe?

About 2 years ago I started taking LoEstrin for my pill and that has made my period regular since then. I get it at the same time every month and for 4 days.

I was good taking pills regularly but soon I started to forget and would miss 2 days here and there and would double up. I dI'd not use a back up method because I figured I had difficulty getting pregnant anyway, and most condoms irritate my skin. I was on bc because to help control my cyst. I recently stopped taking them overall because I noticed I was experiencing many side affects. But now its been almost two weeks since I been off the pill and my period hasnt started.

I was taking lo loestrin 24 fe, never missed a pill and I got pregnant on it too. My doctor says he is not worried, but I was (of course).

Since it is my first month on the pill I worried I may become pregnant and read that Lo loestrin fe, if taken in doses of 2 pills after sex, and two pills 12 hours later, can act as a plan b type pill. Because of this, I'm on the sugar pills 3 days earlier than I should be and was wondering if this mischeduling can cause a pregnancy? Everything I read said the pill is very effective if taken correctly and no pills are missed or skipped.

) and if you took the test to early you could get a false neg. in fact a lot of women have that happen. I've had that happen. If you still don't get it in a couple days I would test again or get a blood test done.

Hey guys, I was on loestrin for 6 months, with mo periods and still ended up pregnant, keep your chin up. It can happen.

I am not pregnant however I am worried as before I had fell pregnant my periods were normal. Why are my periods dark brown blood and very light. They last for a few days but it's barely anything. Didn't know if it was just hormone change in my body and nothing to worry about.

I voted yes. Before trying for a baby I was on Loestrin 24 for 7 years. And one time I was on antibiotics and didn't think about back up protection and got pregnant. It ended in a miscarriage, but not from being on the pill. Loestrin 24 worked great for me, minus that whoops. It was my own fault and not that of the pill. And after I have this baby I will go back on it.

I've been taking Loestrin birth control pills for only a week and I had unprotected sex is there a possibiliy I could become pregnant?

And then i feelin this twingy feeling below my stomach and was freaking that it was sumhow implantation in the womb starting. Any ideas about if have one missed pill and the next one a few hours late means 2 missed pills or just 1?

The iud made sex painful I had 2 periods some months and would cramp like crazy all month long and some months I wouldn't have a period at all I hated the iud!!!
