I've been on my bc (loestrin fe) for about 7 months now. I've never missed a pill but occasionally take it at a different time. Between 7:10 and 7:30. I know that that's alright but I go on and off with periods. Sometimes it starts with the white pills and sometimes the red and sometimes not at all. I also have bleeding during my second week for about 3 days. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant? Should I be worried?
I have never missed a pill, but I guess I could just be being paranoid. Loestrin gives me VERY VERY light periods anyway, and I've heard that even skipping a period on Loestrin is normal. I have taken my first inactive pill today so I guess I just need to wait it out instead of jumping the gun with paranoia. Thanks so much for your reply!
I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe.
I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.
I started the birth control le loestrin fe at the beginning of August (but I didn't wait until after my period came to begin taking the pills) I haven't had my period in those last four months. I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. Is it normal to miss your period for that long after starting birth control or specifically lo loestrin fe?
I was on Loestrin 24 Fe for 5 months but my doctor switched me to Lo Loestrin 24 Fe because she thought I needed a lower dose, as I kept getting recurring yeast infections. The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack.

I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?
Since it is my first month on the pill I worried I may become pregnant and read that Lo loestrin fe, if taken in doses of 2 pills after sex, and two pills 12 hours later, can act as a plan b type pill. Because of this, I'm on the sugar pills 3 days earlier than I should be and was wondering if this mischeduling can cause a pregnancy? Everything I read said the pill is very effective if taken correctly and no pills are missed or skipped.
So I've been taking Lo loestrin fe for 3 weeks. A week before taking it, I had my period. After taking it, I got it again. I understand that it's normal to get it after first starting. My problem is that it's now been 2 weeks that I've been on my period. Is this still normal?
Hello, I'm in my inactive week of my third month of birth control and I will be starting my fourth month. I started with lo loestrin fe and was switched to gildess fe 1/20. I haven't had my period in about a month. I've read in forums that it's common and I shouldn't be nervous but I am! about a week ago I had a tiny bit of blood when I wiped and then the next day the same thing, but that's it. I've been on Loestrin 24 fe for about a year now. I take it regularly and consistently, but vomited a few hours after taking one pill of this month's pack. I try and take the pills at the same time every night, but there are some times when I forget and either take the pill a couple of hours later or the next day. Hi there. I have recently started taking Lo loestrin Fe for my birth control for almost 2 months now and have been having almost continuous bleeding. That was the only problem until about two weeks ago. Now I'm having serious bloating, headaches, fatigue, cramping, mood swings, and crazy heartburn even when I don't eat anything. This was the exact string of symptoms when I found out I was pregnant with my son. I took a test but it came out negative.
