The common side effects of Loestrin are mild nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps; breast tenderness or swelling, nipple discharge; vaginal itching or discharge; or changes in your menstrual periods, weight change, decreased sex drive etc.It is not necessary that all women will experience them. t had my period in those last four months. I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. Is it normal to miss your period for that long after starting birth control or specifically lo loestrin fe?

If I was I would be 2 weeks and 4 days now but I have no breast tenderness and bloating has always been a problem for me, I do get some pain but I associated it with having bad gas.

I continued to bleed until Jan 20 (CD 27/the last white pill before the brown placebo pills) I also had sex on Jan 21 around 1:00 AM using the withdraw method correctly. I took a pregnancy test Jan 28 and it was negative.
The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack. However, I just finished my placebo pills (inactive pills) for the month and I have not gotten my period.

The side effects are delayed menses, nausea, dizziness, lower abdominal pain, fatigue, breast tenderness etc.Hair loss is definitely not a side effect and it could be due to other causes.Stress,nutritional deficiencies, iron deficiency anemia, hypothyroidism all can cause hair loss. Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease which can cause hair loss. See a dermatologist. A clinical examination is very important for correct diagnosis and management. I hope it helps.

per bloodwork, I am only in perimenopause and am on day 5 of Lo Loestrin. Has anyone had success feeling better on this bcp and did it take a couple of cycles to really notice. I get these periodic heart palps and adrenaline rushes throughout the day. I'm still taking flaxseed oil and evening primrose to help control, but am really hoping the Lo Loestrin makes a difference. Has anyone done well taking bcp for their peri symptoms?

t know what I have, but my lungs have some sort of infection I know that much. Been coughing up a lot of stuff and had a fever and sinuses are stopped up. I also sleep on my stomach. And I have been sleeping a lot the past couple of days from the cold medication. I also feel a little nauseous but I can't tell if that's from being sick or if its morning sickness.. My breasts feel slightly lumpy too. Does this sound like pregnancy? Or swollen lymph nodes from an infection?..

I am 5 wks and 3 days and I found out at 4 wks that I was pregnant and this is my first pregnancy. I haven't had breast tenderness but my nipples have been really tender especially last wk but I find now that they aren't as tender. They barely hurt anymore. Is this something I should be worried about?
Same thing happened to me so I had another hcg and have since had my first ultrasound and all is fine, it's normal for symptoms to come and go, mine change on a daily basis now, it's hard to know because everyone is different and being my first pregnancy I had nothing to compare it to. In my head I just think all symptoms can come and go, if I'm not bleeding then it's fine and I'm still pregnant!

I'm on CD22 and I am having breast tenderness. They have been feeling this way since Monday which was 6 days ago. My cycles normally last 28 to 30 days. Can you have breast tenderness from ovulation? I'm not on any progestrone due to the doctors telling me that I can't start back up until the end of this month.
Hi, I'm 6 and a half weeks and don't have breast tenderness either! They do seem a bit fuller though. I think every pregnancy and every body is different! Try to relax, I'm sure everything is just fine!

Try not to stress because you are lacking certain symptoms. With my first, I had breast tenderness. With my 2nd, and now my 3rd, none at all. Take care and Congratulations.
I wouldnt worry too much about it, my breast tenderness came and went until about 12 weeks and then went away all together. Try not to worry about your symptoms. I never threw up during my pregnancy and im 22 weeks with a healthy baby girl.
