I am a 23 year old female. When I was 18 I went on Loestrin 24, and my breasts got bigger but a cup size, maybe even 2. I was so happy. They stayed pretty big, wavering depending on my weight loss or gain, but overall I stayed around the same weight (I never actually lost/gained enough to change dress sizes).
However, now that it's been 5 years since I started on this pill I notice my breasts have actually gone back down to what they were originally. I am so upset!
I have been taking this pill since January and my doctor told me over and over that I wouldn't gain weight. I was the same way as you, being nervous about gaining weight and I honestly did not want to get on birth control but I was 17 at the time so I had no choice. I am used to being skinny. I was a senior in high school wearing a size 2, and since I've been taking it I've gained a lot of weight in my abdomen area and in my butt.
per bloodwork, I am only in perimenopause and am on day 5 of Lo Loestrin. Has anyone had success feeling better on this bcp and did it take a couple of cycles to really notice. I get these periodic heart palps and adrenaline rushes throughout the day. I'm still taking flaxseed oil and evening primrose to help control, but am really hoping the Lo Loestrin makes a difference. Has anyone done well taking bcp for their peri symptoms?
I'm 23 and on birth control (Loestrin 24). Normally my periods are somewhat regular, but really light and short. Last month I didn't have one, but I did have some slight spotting before my period was supposed to come. This month my period also skipped.
I have no other symptoms of PCOS except some acne on my chin (but occasional breakouts are not uncommon for me, I have oily skin, plus an expired skin product and eating wheat with my allergy may have caused this).

The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack. However, I just finished my placebo pills (inactive pills) for the month and I have not gotten my period.
I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe.
I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.
I have recently been put on LoEstrin for Endometriosis, and as I was advised have been doing the self breast exams. I have noticed that my left breast has become so tender that I can barely complete the self exam. There is one area in particular that feels more sensitive than the rest of the breast, but I can't really press on it, and can't really feel around to tell if there is a lump because it hurts too much.
i was put on the birthcontrol called loestrin. ive been on loestrin for a little over 6 months now and all of a sudden one day i couldnt have sex anymore because it hurt so much. as time passed this pain went away but now as of today just him inserting it for one second and then all of a sudden ever since it has hurt to pee.why is this?
but every since i started bleeding like 3 weeks ago for only 2 hours and havent bleed since then and i have tender breast they have gotten bigger, im tired all the time and im moody. i took like 6 test and the first one came back possitive and the others came back negative. so what should i do or what else would all that be caused by....
Went from a full D to an E, i feel your pain. The hard part is how heavy they get, make sure you invest in a good bra, mine started to stretch out my bras, and yes, totally normal and I'm pretty sure they get smaller after you dry up.
most cases only a couple of sizes I was a 36C and now Im a 40C and Im 38weeks 4 days but still goingto breastfeed so still more to come lol thou I know some woman who barely went up 1size and then lost a size or two after they stoped breastfeeding
My pre-pregnancy breast size was a high A cup. Now I'm a B cup. I plan to breast feed. But afraid my breast will shrink back to normal. I like how they got bigger. Will they stay big or go back to the reg size?
