lidoderm

Avatar f tn t have to use that I just make sure everyone is doing their job and I always wear my medic alert bracelet.
Avatar n tn In other words, I would have to be keep the patches off all day on the first day. Then I would have to keep them off all night, too. On my second day, I could get back on my regular schedule. I should state that, without the patches, I need either to wear no shirt or to hold my shirt away from my chest on the left side.
4592444 tn?1362029703 I swea I am going to tear my skin off!!! I can't stand it. I have gone through 3 bottles of lotion in the past week. I can't afford to keep itching lol! What do you do to get some relief???
Avatar m tn left pointer finger, at work i stuck a cedar sliver under the nail past the start point of the nail. I attempted to pull it out and it broke off. only 1/4 inch came out so a good 1/2 inch is still in there i can see it thru the nail. I attempted to cut and split the nail with razor blade but once i got part way thru nail it hurt bad. my co-worker gave me a new 10ml bottle of lidocaine, he uses it to give himself stitches.
Avatar f tn Thus it is possible to cause a tear or injury that would not be noticed until the lidocaine wore off. In the case of normal intercourse, this should not be a problem.
1571533 tn?1322943509 Hey. I went to my PCP yesterday and he gave me a LIDODERM, a lidocaine patch, to try and help with the pain in my neck -he thinks if that calms down so will the migraines.. theyve been everyday constantly for well over a month and a half, and no meds help.. nor do therapeutic methods i have here at home.. Has anyone here used it before? And did it help? I tried to use it last night but it wouldnt stick to my neck.
Avatar m tn Hello... nice to meet you all... I go directly to the question okay? I just need some opinion... I'm a medical doctor, and 3 hours ago I'm working on some nail extraction to a 40y.o female patient... when I'm injecting the lidocaine (with infiltration anesthesia technique), some lidocaine sprayed directly into my right eye...
405614 tn?1329144114 I usually started feeling relief from the shots within a few days but love the lidocaine shots, its sometimes nice to be numb but always hate it when it wears off. Hang in there Sweetie, ok? And Happy Early Birthday!!!!!
Avatar f tn so still seeking alternatives. Someone mentioned lidocaine/lidoderm patches. Any experience/ advice or other suggestions for these or other alternatives???? Other info: The muscle relaxers probably help, but I don't like to take them. They make me too sleepy and I know they can be addictive (though I seriously don't like them). I've been using a heating pad every night for a week and it hasn't helped. Salon-Pas patches help....some. The anti-inflamatory pill helps...some....
673999 tn?1226935279 The new standard inoffice bladder instillation for IC is Lidocaine instillation with bicarbonate solution. The lidocaine is a local anesthetic and the bicarbonate allows the lidocaine to penetrate the bladder wall to get to the bladder nerves. Lidocaine without the bicarbonate solution has only minimal bladder wall penetration and very short duration of action (minutes to an hour).
Avatar n tn How long we're u on depo? I was on it for nearly 12 years & it's taken me 2years for my periods to get back to normal.
655875 tn?1295695107 I know a lot of people who love it and who use it a lot. You should wear gloves when applying it, because you can't get it in your eyes. Either wear gloves, or wash your hands well after applying. I have used it, and I think it's okay.
4294412 tn?1353197830 It would be easier to try and help you if we knew a little more. What kind of pain, what you have tried and what your diagnosis is. I'm guessing it has to do with your back being as your getting shots there. Is it lumbar epidural a your having? Are they helping? Please share some more info.
Avatar f tn I don't think the cream is lidocaine, although they usually do mix some lidocaine in with the serum after they draw it out of the patient's vial. You should talk to his dr about the cream. I know that patients at my allergist's office that use it (some are adults) wear plastic wrap on their arm for the 30 before the shot. I am sure that your dr will know about it.
Avatar n tn I SUFFER WITH CRPS POST FOOT SURGERY. MY FOOT HAS ATROPHIED. THE BONES IN MY TOES ARE FUSED TOGETHER. BURNING HORRIBLE. I GET KETAMINE INFUSION EVERY 2 MONTHS FOR TWO THREE HOUR SESSIONS. HAD 6 DAY INPATIENT KETAMINE INFUSION, 6 DAY IVIG INPATIENT INFUSION AND 6 DAY LIDOCAINE INPATIENT INFUSION WHEN IN 4TH DAY I SUFFERED FROM LIDOCAINE TOXICITY & HAD TO BE TAKEN OFF INFUSION. NOTHING HAS HELPED. MY CONDITION IS ONLY GETTING WORSE WITH TIME. SUFFERED SINCE 2009.
14051 tn?1238251732 I have had 2 sympathetic blocks in the past, but no real relief. My surgeon gave me Lidocaine injections, on 2 different occasions, in my back, where the rod was on the right side to see if I had infection or the rods were the issue. The Lidocaine was a godsend!!!!
1080181 tn?1425394866 i am 28 weeks with twins, and yesterday i was at a water park where my feet, parts of my legs, my stomach at the top, my face, my chest, shoulders and upper back all got burned. i put on some sunscreen, but i guess it wore off.. =[ it didn't bother me that much last night, aside from my feet which got completely swollen. even my legs got swollen. i have been laying in bed with them propped on a pillow basically all day and the swelling is going down very slowly..
Avatar f tn I just had one last week. I'm very pain sensitive and I did feel it a little bit but nothing I couldn't handle. The main part that'll sting is when you get the lidocaine injection (like they give you at the dentist) on the area for the biopsy. After you are numb the needle for the biopsy doesn't "hurt" at all - it's just a rather odd less than pleasant sensation which is quickly over.
Avatar n tn In my case the pain lasted six months, but it was greatly diminished after three months. Try asking your doctor about use of a transdermal lidocaine patch over the bruised area. You cut a little piece, but don't wear it more than 12 hours out of the day.
Avatar n tn Re: Lidocaine Enemas. I am warning everyone to be careful. My brother just died 3/31/12 from a lidocaine enema. He was only 28. (Lidocaine Intoxication) Lidocaine in liquid form. I don't want anyone elses loved ones to die like this. I hope everyone will be careful when dealing w/lidocaine. it is a dangerous substance when not used properly.
383138 tn?1314167773 wants to do a lidocaine IV infusion, he says IV infusion of lidocaine is different than the dental injection. My cardiologist says I can't have lidocaine at all, due to my past severe heart reaction to it, but my pain dr. thinks it will be OK and has scheduled me for infusion for pain relief for this Friday. I dont know what to do, so any info on the lidocaine and any contraidictions with heart arrhythmias would be helpful. Thankyou.
