This can be overcome by using preservative-free lidocaine. In case of true allergy another class of anesthetics, the esters like benzocaine can be tried. Discuss all the options with your doctor before consenting for surgery.

They will need to determine where it is coming from.
About 7 weeks ago, I used a condom that contained benzocaine and now my penis has a loss of sensation . Is it possible that the benzocaine could still be in my system or could cause permanent nerve damage? My testicles are no longer sensitive and i don't have the normal sensation when i ejaculate. Hi, I am newly married, due to pre mature ejaculation i started using Kamasutra delayed climax condom with benzocaine, i feel i dont find any sensation during sex, however i can able to last for long hour upto 1 hours,

t have a premature ejaculation problem, I decided to try out condoms with benzocaine just for a change. I used it twice a day everyday for about 12 days (we were on our honeymoon) and at around two weeks, it started to numb my penis and I started having a hard time maintaining the erection. I didn't attribute the problem to the condom, and continued using it every 3 or 4 days. Each time it became worse.

I noticed that my skin is not the usual color that it used to be. Its a little bit more lighter or more pale than usual. I didnt have any other pain relief except this lidocaine injection so my reaction was certainly from that. It caused me to have a near seizure or a seizure. My legs started majorly jerking, I started twitching all over. I was left so bad that I couldnt walk after the procedure due to all developing neurological issues. I was stuck in the dentist clinic for up to an hour until I was was able to walk to my car just outside the door.
