I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant. I've experienced pain during sex since the first time doing it and I've done it over 30 times. Lost my virginity 6 months ago. I never really expected it to hurt so much and for so long! I think I've only had like 3/4 times where I have experienced little pain to no pain. I don't know what's wrong with me. I mean I am well lubricated etc and use extra lube on top. It's just very painful for me....
I have been wheelchair bound now for 2 years and either sit or lie in bed nearly 100% of the time. The skin on my buttocks burns like fire and I am now having extreme difficulty sleeping due to this even when taking prescribed sleeping pills. This is getting very bad. Any ideas of sprays or salves to apply to desensatize the area so that I can finally get rest at night? Thanks for any ideas.
BTW- have Biotene toothpaste/rinse-burns, lips are cracked and covered in the densest face cream I can find.
ve used Lidocaine for several months now. It dulls the pain most days, does little on others, and has offered no long-term relief. Most of the women I've seen posting on forums on the internet have suffered from this for a decade or more. One doctor suggests vulvodynea is a result of a weakening of the pelvic floor muscles, which puts pressure on the nerves, and that Kegel exercises can relieve 80 percent of the pain.
I'm really glad that your appointment went so well. It's AMAZING what problems some medications can cause when they are supposed to be helping something else!! I'm REALLY glad that you had a Doctor that listened to you and took you off of the Cymbalta!!
I have never had the lidocaine infusion, only the RFA's, so I can't be of any help to you on this. However, I'm SURE that we have some members that HAVE experienced them.
how long should it take for the estradiol/lidocaine ointment to truly take effect? it is making a difference. and i’m also using raw coconut oil?
So my husband and I have sex much less than we used to and I am now 33 weeks pregnant. When we do I get very sore and irritated in my vagina, it burns! Now my question is, does that mean I'm not stretched out well enough for delivery?
my co-worker gave me a new 10ml bottle of lidocaine, he uses it to give himself stitches. advice as to where to put the needle (i got from cvs insulin 31g-8mm),what to expect ie: will it burn- how long b4 its numb, and if i split the nail will it grow back? any advice will help..
My 7 yr. old son has tiny white dot like bumps on his tongue, and on the very tip of the tongue the dots seem to have grown into one large white spot. They are not outlined in red, just white. He cries alot over them & wakes at night screaming in pain. We try baby orajel swabs and a benadryl/mylanta mix on the surface of tongue, but it doesn't help alot.
There are no contraindications for using lidocaine for the purpose described. The only danger is that lidocaine completely anesthetizes tissue, which is why you can cut or suture an area treated by lidocaine. Thus it is possible to cause a tear or injury that would not be noticed until the lidocaine wore off. In the case of normal intercourse, this should not be a problem.
I got Badly Sunburnt the other day on my face, neck and shoulders and mum noticed a lump on my forehead is that normal?. I've had no problems with head aches I get dry eyes I suppose its from the sunburn. I'm keeping my fluids and cream up and getting better. I'm the sort of type of person that gets burnt and tans up too. But I was red raw the other day all over my face and especially my shoulders. Could it be fluid??
9 days ago my new dentist gave me a large dose of lidocaine/epinephrine on back molar (#17). Deep filling was needed. Most of my tongue has been numb since this procedure and I have had heart palpitations, chest pounding off and on since this happened. Also start shivering off and on. For past 3 days I have had chest pain when lying down...chest feels like it is being squeezed. Feel it now in any position but lying down increases the feeling. For past 2 days intense headache.
Re: Lidocaine Enemas. I am warning everyone to be careful. My brother just died 3/31/12 from a lidocaine enema. He was only 28. (Lidocaine Intoxication) Lidocaine in liquid form. I don't want anyone elses loved ones to die like this. I hope everyone will be careful when dealing w/lidocaine. it is a dangerous substance when not used properly.
He has scheduled me for a check-up next week and I will have to wear a 30 day monitor to be sure there are no more problems cropping up. I am hoping this is a one time freak occurrence. I plan on going lidocaine-free when having dental work done from now on because I am terrified that it may do new damage to my heart.
My question is, has anyone ever had a bad SVT type reaction to lidocaine while having dental work done?

So the next day i fell asleep on the side where I had the sore *noted i had a bandaid covering it* and another formed on the same side but near my noise. So i applied lotion on it and it took around 4 days to cover up. Now the lotion has helped but the skin still feels sensative. If i put my hand on my cheek i can feel a slight burning which shows me that it's still sesensative. And my cheek has the cluster of dead skin that makes my cheek feel a lil scaly.
