Amitrityline-2%, Ketoprofen – 10%, Gabapentin – 3%, Lidocaine – 2% and Transdermal Gel – 60 g. Needs a prescription to get. You'll need a special pharmacy who can mix it up.
If you have trouble finding one, my pharmacy also mails them out.
Also, putting an ice pad on your head can sometimes help a migraine.

You could Try some lidocaine gel although I'm not sure it's OTC...I just dont remember...Look for an ointment that's topical and containing any kind of numbing agent. Try to leave it alone so a scab can form and that will help. Breathe through your mouth. Try to get an appt sooner. Go to an Urgent Care and they can prescribe a topical anesthetic. Take Motrin or Aleve.

I have a compound for carafate, lidocaine, and Benadryl. When it was mixed, it was liquid and now it's clumped and formed a gel-like. Is this supposed to be like that?
A big help to me with the irritation from cathing is to use lidocaine on the catherter. YOu can get a script for this! The lidocaine gel though does also contain methly paraben not an issue to most just me.., so I get MSM gel from Jaocb's lab compounded with lidocaine! In the beginning I would also put a cool or cold compress of ice on the urethra after cathing! I no longer need that! To make sure you have gotten all the urine out move it a little and wait etc.

The itching by this point has subsided. So I started applying aloe gel with. 5% lidocaine. This is a miracle as it numbs very nicely. I have done everything imaginable to relieve this pain, and nothing helps. I have never had them this bad. I have been,bedridden for two solid days with the pain only becoming worse. I have used witch hazel pads, prep H, sitz baths, cold compresses, walked, lidocaine gel, and it's getting worse. my son is turning 3 wednesday, and i dont want to be in severe pain. A nurse friend gave me a sample of Voltaren gel and it worked great. I asked my surgeon about it and they gave me some samples and a prescription. (It' expensive, around $200 a tube.
Now I use a compounded cream prescribed by my PM nurse practitioner. It has about seven different things in it. I know 2 of the ingredients are ketamine and lidocaine but I can't remember the rest. (This also runs around $200.) I find this works a bit better than the Voltaren.
Some people ice the area (personally I think the cold hurts worse than the teeny needle poke)...Others have been able to get a 2% lidocaine gel from their pharmacist (usually used for premature ejaculation issues) and apply that to the area, but most just do it cold turkey... Have you started your shots yet? If so, and you are worried about the needle, it is a very teeny and short little thing and, when you finally get brave enough to "just do it", you barely feel it.
It is very painful and can occur due to stress, vitamin deficiencies or trauma. Apply chlorhexidine gel or any other oral anti septic gel you can find twice daily on your mouth ulcers and leave it on for 2 mins and then do warm salt water gargles. Drink or eat half hour after application. Take OTC multivitamins rich in riboflavin to counter the mouth ulcers. If it still persists consult your dentist.

I have felt like that before the doctor gave me lidocaine gel for a painful sore but it seems to work good if I itch, that's the only thing I found sometimes benadryl cream has worked but not as good as the lidocaine.
