My MRIs have all been on my head since I got the tattoo, and mine is on my left side/flank. You could always just call and ask an MRI tech where ever you normally get them.
Is this your first tattoo? Mine is my first and only one. I still love it. But I don't recommend getting one down your side - hurt a lot more than I had anticipated, lol!
My dentist gives me my shot and see another patient, by the time he got back to me I was fully numb. and the numbness last for 8 - 12 hours. I am highly allergic to lidocaine it puts me into anaphylactic shock, I have an epipen but sa that I don't have to use that I just make sure everyone is doing their job and I always wear my medic alert bracelet.
I not only have type 1 diabetes and many tattoos, but I am also a tattoo artist. Healing times may be a little longer for diabetics and make sure to follow the aftercare instructions. Also make sure you go to a reputable artist. There are a lot of tattoo shops out there that do not follow the proper sterilization techniques.
I haven't had a problem with any of my tattoos. And my newest one is only 18months old. Oldest one is 15 years old. Weird...
I am married, never had a needle stick at work, always follow universal precautions. I do have tattoos and got a new one (a total of 3) a few months ago and just tested +HCV. Although I do have risk factors, work and tattoos, I am devastated with the recent diagnosis. I've always known how easy it is to get HCV as a health provider and most likely you got it from one of your surgeries. I know that I had to get it from my last tattoo.
Your tattoos shouldn't always pop out unless your artist has a heavy hand and scar'ed you .. As far as you being pregnant and your tattoos popping out now and itching, alot happens to our bodies during pregnancy I personally have 19 tattoos and haven't noticed that with any of them.. Ask your artist or doctor?

ve had quite a few stellate ganglion blocks and have had some success. They thought the lidocaine infusion might help the other pain I deal with and kill two (or more) birds at the same time so to speak.
KittKat23-78, Sorry the infusion didn't help you!! I hadn't heard about having several a few days apart; I'll have to ask about it. Mine is (at least one) being paid for by worker's comp. I'm hopeful but also trying to keep things realistic and in perspective.
left pointer finger, at work i stuck a cedar sliver under the nail past the start point of the nail. I attempted to pull it out and it broke off. only 1/4 inch came out so a good 1/2 inch is still in there i can see it thru the nail. I attempted to cut and split the nail with razor blade but once i got part way thru nail it hurt bad. my co-worker gave me a new 10ml bottle of lidocaine, he uses it to give himself stitches.
Has anyone ever been prescribed this for genital outbreaks or PHN? My doctor did for PHN. I just tried it for the first time it hurt to apply and doesn't feel the most pleasant now. Has anyone ever used this and what was your experience?
Id go nuts if someone acted that way around me about my tattoos! I have over 30 tattoos I have a half sleeve on one arm and the bottom half of one of my legs sleeved! I can't stand when people look at me crazy in public but I'd throw a fit and stand my ground about my tattoos to people that know me and treat me that way!

t hurt at all. My long time tattooist knows that I take very good care of my tattoos and I know he uses only sterile equipment. I was more likely to get infected by scraping my knee than getting a tattoo from him. Also, he said that the minimal amount of ink that he put into my skin, would be diluted and non-existent by the time it reached the placenta. It was also so small that it healed completely in 2 days.
My baby is perfectly healthy now.
My last post was about piercings in the third trimester. So this question is asking if tattoos are okay to get?? No bashing please because I'm asking questions other people wonder as well and I'm bold enough to ask, so if you're gonna post rude comments please don't say nothing at all.
