I have been on levora birth control for four months now and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days in a row and he finished inside of me, we usually don't do that. However, now I'm getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week.

Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally. This last weekend I had very strong desires to kill myself by stabbing myself repeatedly. I have a great husband who has helped me stay safe and talked me through the difficult times. I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet.
So I took Levora from the age of like 14 through 26 (I went off of it around age 23 and got pregnant shortly after so I didn't get back on it until I stopped breastfeeding). I started getting my period very young (age 9) and I don't recall them being too irregular. Normally they'd be about 28 - 32 days in between periods. So a little irregular but still not too irregular. They were also always very heavy and painful, hence why my mother opted to put me on Levora.
We had sex again last Jan 22 @ 10pm this time it was unprotected and he came inside me. I took Nordette as Ecp since Plan B is banned here in my country. Took 4 pills Jan 23 4:30am but i vomited after 3 1/2 hours. Took the next 4 at 4:30 pm and another 4 Jan 24 at 2pm. I took total of 12 pills. Is there a chance of pregnancy? Went to my OB and she said that I wasnt ovulating and to continue the last dose (that was yesterday). I am still so worried. Will i get pregnant?

my girlfriend and I have sex just this morning, and unfortunately I *** inside her so we decided to buy a nordette its a ECP (Emergency Contraceptive Pills) . however this afternoon she had her menstrual period.
So does she still needs to take nordette? or since she got her period after sex we are safe from pregnancy.

t know. when i went in they switched me off of the yasmin and onto levora so it would be cheaper. but i never had problems with yasmin anyways. but after taking the levora i started getting anxiety not anxiety attacks but just high anxiety all the time everyday till now. i don't know if it was the levora or if it was the sinus thing because i remember feeling sort of like this the day we went to pick the levora for the first time. does anyone have any answers for me.
Hi I am 20 yrs old and I have recently had a child I have been put on nordette 28 fr continous use to mak like seasonque I have been bleeding for 3wks straight j don't know if this is normal or not I'm getting very worried and scared this is my first cycle of them I was wonder sholud I take them normally 28 days or continue like itvwas said to do
I was really unsure of it so we agreed to use ECP (emergency contraceptive pills - Nordette) on 21 in the morning, 4 pills in the morning 12 hours later another 4 pills.. its now november 30, 10 days after taking nordette but still no menstration. this is her 4th time of taking ECP within this year and the past she always have her menstration 7 days after taking nordette. I love my girlfriend so much.. we are still in college and I dont wanna ruin her life by getting her pregnant.
Hi, i took 4 Nordette pills today as ECP at around 11am. Unprotected sex happened 3 days ago. Then i took 4 Althea pills at 11pm tonight. Would this be enough? I am so worried about any side effects this may cause me bec i used 2 different brands.
My girlfriend and I experienced a condom failure however she took nordette as a ECP after 5-6 days she started to have menstruation for 4 days.
I used nordette BCP for emergency contraception. I took 12:30 this afternoon. I was supposed to take 4 pills but mistakenly took only 2 pills. What should i do? Should i retake the full doses again or should i just take 4 pills 12 hrs later?

I took Nordette (Oct 30) as an ECP the day after the intercourse (4 pills then 12 hours later 4 pills again). I got my withdrawal bleeding after 5 days (Oct 5); it lasted for 3 days. I missed my period (October 25). I took a Medic Pregnancy test kit after 2, 5 and days after and it resulted to a negative. Can I possibly still be pregnant? My period hasn't come until now. :(

Hi! Welcome to the forum! Yes, you should be fine having taken the pill just two hours later than usual. You have about 24 hours to take the pill and keep your protection. If it goes longer than that, then use a condom until the next cycle but you are fine with what you describe happening!

Then Last May 19 there's a little reddish brown discharge on my pantyliner. My period is due on May 21. My average cycle is 30 days. My last period was April 21-27. I took another pregnancy test this morning and it turned out negative though I still have the brownish discharge. Still want to be sure if I'm not pregnant. Please enlighten me.

july 2, i had a withdrawal bleeding that lasted for for days.

Had an unsafe sex after the June 1 -5 menstration. What I did was I took 4 pills of Nordette at the same time.
I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.
So I took Nordette more than a week ago (Jan 11) as an emergency bcp and my withdrawal bleeding hasn't come yet. It's only been two days late tho but I'm worried because before it came on time and sometimes even earlier. Does my sickness affect its lateness? I've had cold and cough and slight fever for the last few days.

I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. If not, what else could be the solution because we're not yet ready to have a baby.
