I have been on levora birth control for four months now and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days in a row and he finished inside of me, we usually don't do that. However, now I'm getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week.

Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally. This last weekend I had very strong desires to kill myself by stabbing myself repeatedly. I have a great husband who has helped me stay safe and talked me through the difficult times. I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet.
So I took Levora from the age of like 14 through 26 (I went off of it around age 23 and got pregnant shortly after so I didn't get back on it until I stopped breastfeeding). I started getting my period very young (age 9) and I don't recall them being too irregular. Normally they'd be about 28 - 32 days in between periods. So a little irregular but still not too irregular. They were also always very heavy and painful, hence why my mother opted to put me on Levora.
i'm not sure about this but i just went to the clinic and got switched back onto my old birth control today in hopes that my anxiety will go away. about six or seven months ago i stopped taking yasmin because i just didn't feel like dealing with having to rememeber to take a pill everyday....(lazy i know).
I was on yasmin and when asking for more from my doctor she accidenty wrote yas...not yasmine so i tried it for a few months. it was horrible. I become very depressed and moody, gained weight, had bad acne, and become very paranoid. I switched to levora which i've been on ever since ( 3yrs). My symptoms all went away once i stopped taking Yaz. I'm not sure if it would take 4 months of your hormones to regulate...or if Yaz could forever damage your hormones.
I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.
so for the past 6 months i've been on levora, a birth control. the past couple of months i've been having aches on my right side, i'm pretty sure it's my ovary (and no i do not think it's ovulatin, those aches last only a day). these aches are on and off the whole month.i had my withdrawal bleed about 2 and a half weeks ago so i doubt i'm pregnant. i'm very good at taking the pill as well. i've been with my.
I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.
In your case, having had a tubal ligation, the indication would not be for birth control but for the symptoms you describe and that is fine.
I'm not sure what you mean by taking four pills. You should take it as you otherwise would: one pill at the same time each day. I suggest you see your ob/gyn to discuss these issues in greater detail.

i have been on levora for 3 yrs now. about 2 months ago i started having weird symptoms. My boobs randomly will hurt, or sometimes just 1 nipple. I become moody easily, and sometimes sad easily, i've been getting bloated. i've been feeling bloated and today started cramping mildly. last month i didn't have a normal period it was very light (only needed a pantyliner if that), the blood was brown, had no cramps and it lasted 3 days. I took 2 HPT both were negative.
( is there any good skin product that really does work at getting rid of acne, dark spots, bit still make your skin smooth?? Btw I have sensitive skin && some acne products make my skin dry :( please help?
I get it on my chest, back and face I have went to a derm since I was 18 but it never seemed to really help and I felt like since my acne was mild they never really cared. When I get acne it lasts for multiple weeks or months which is why its so agonizing especially cause afterwards I am left with post acne marks that can last up to a year. It has totally messed up my self confidence and has made me totally insecure.
A common treatment for cystic acne is Isotretinoin, which cures most acne in about 90% of patients. In sever cases a course of oral antibiotics are also recommended.

s my period but its been 4 days now and the bleeding is still pretty heavy which is atypical for me and this length of time for a period is atypical also.
I'm concerned, especially since I've never had those specks before my period. I currently don't have health insurance for a month so I need to wait until early October for when my new coverage kicks in.
Any advice? Should I continue with my pills for this next month? Any ideas what this could be?
Alright im on levora bc pills. i normally take them regularly. my periods are 28 days apart (last like 5-6 days moderately heavy bad cramps.) anyways it all started last month. i had sex regularly from feb 21-march 1 and i did miss a pill on feb 25 (stupid i know.) anyways before my period was due i noticed bad nip pain like almost a burning. it lazted a few days and was on and off. i also kept gettin dizzy spells and nausea. my period was due the 13 i started a day late.
I have had continuing problems with acne and cysts on my buttocks area for approximately 15 years. I have seen multiple physicians regarding the condition, however, all have either treated me only with antibiotics or considered it an allergic reaction of some sort, regardless, none of the treatments have worked. Recently I went to a new dermatologist who diagnosed me with Acne Inversa, however, he stated it was curable and prescribed me Accutane.
I don't have a history of acne, but recently I 've been breaking out around my hairline, across my forehead, nose and cheeks. The acne is red and very small bumps, as if it was irritaton. I thought it might be an allergic raction to a hair product or new facial cleanser but stopping use of these new things hasn't stopped the situation. I've recently started back at the gym and running and sweating a lot and a co-worker of mine said that this is probably the cause.
My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since May. I was on Levora (birth control) and went off of it in April. For the first few months April, May, June, July...my periods were irregular, which is to be expected, since I went off of the pill. They SEEMED to be regualar in Aug. Since then we usually use condoms but a few times haven't. I heard its not uncommon for a woman to miss her period the 1st month on these pills. Hi, I started my BC pill on the 31 august like two weeks before my period date, its still few days until my period and I'm getting tommy pains for the last 3 days and breast tenderness. Am I going to get period on the date that I normally would or will the taking the BC pill before my period slow it down? I don't have 21 day pills but 28, no placebo. Will I still get my period ?
