I will just ask if I can get pregnant knowing that we have a coitus relationship a day after my ovulation day (based on my period tracker). He didn't used protection that time but one thing is I am sure of. He didn't ejaculated his sperms inside mine. I don't know if his precum is inside. Maybe yes or I don't know because I remember that I wiped his with my hand before he put it inside. But I am not sure of it because there would be some still inside of his right?

My last menstruation starts April 16.. We had unprotected sex on April 25 morning and evening..He said he never come but not so sure..I took levonorgestrel (EC) on the 27 day of April...What the chance of becoming pregnant..My ovulation calendar states that on 29th my ovulation day. I'm not yet ready to it co'z my second child is turning 2yrs old..Any advise from you guys would be a big help..Thank you..

t anything to worry about, they all work in the same way - preventing ovulation, thinning the womb lining to make it harder for an embryo to attach, and thickening the mucus so sperm can't get past the cervix as easily. it seems to me that levora isn't a "low dose" - it's simply that it contains 0.15g of levonorgestrel, which is used in the morning after pill/emergency contraceptive pill at a higher dosage.
Menstruation usually occurs on an average about 14 days after ovulation. So delayed ovulation may result in delayed periods. She has taken emergency pill within 24 hours after an unprotected act so her chances of conceiving are very less. Tender breasts could be due to hormonal changes or premenstrual syndrome. The chances of pregnancy are very less. Wait for her perids.In case she misses it take up pregnancy test. Do keep me posted.

I have taken plan B levonorgestrel 3 weeks ago. I had a heavy bleeding 3 days after I took it and it lasted only 2 days. My last period started on 18 february so in my natural cycle I would have my period today again 19 march.
I don´t feel the sympthoms of getting my period soon so i guess it´s delayed due to plan B.
Did my cycle started again on 1 march, when I had my bleeding for 2 days?
The next day I went to a chemist and got the emergency contraceptive (morning after pill); a 1.5mg levonorgestrel which I took around 15 hours after having sex. My period was due yesterday (Thursday) and the pharmacist said because I was long past ovulation it was unlikely to be pregnant but to take it anyway to be sure. It's Friday now and I haven't gotten my period but I'm also on antibiotics and painkillers for tonsillitis so could this affect my period?
Plan B contains Levonorgestrel and Progestin hormones which obstructs the process of ovulation. It also blocks the sperms from entering the uterus hence preventing the pregnancy.
The pills which you are talking about are abortion pills whose process is similar to miscarriages. Abortion pills like Mifepristone and Misoprostol which contracts the uterus and the pregnancy is passed out in form of bleeding. I hope your doubt is cleared now.
Plan B is a high dose of levonorgestrel, which is one of the synthetic progestins available in birth control pills. The "period" you get on the pill is actually bleeding caused by the withdrawal of the hormones during the inactive pill week, and not a true period you would get if you were ovulating normally. Plan B is known to cause menstrual irregularities after taking it, and my guess is that you're having withdrawal bleeding after that dose of hormones.

Hi. Me and my girlfriend had sex last night (July 9 ) and unfortunately the condom we were using got left inside after I came inside it and pulled out. She took 4 Trust pills around 20 minutes after, and 4 again 12 hours after that first dosage. We are concerned because we think that some semen was on the finger which i used to retrieve the condom and that maybe there was some spillage as I felt for the condom inside.
I do not know whether she or I had any precum on our hands from my organ but just to be sure and safe 1.5mg Levonorgestrel (Plan B or Unwanted 72) was taken about 12 hours later (around 10.45am on 24th September 2011). Both of us are not sure whether we had precum. I touched only the outer side of outer lip and nowhere near the opening of her vagina. While I understand that there is always a risk of DVT, depression or stroke when taking contraceptive pills, I was thinking, there are other brand of pills which contains more or less the same hormones ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel. So should I be concerned? I have been on other brand of pills in the past which contained ethinylestradiol and norethisterone and I was fine with it.
In all likelihood, you are not pregnant. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days after a period (if your periods are regular every 28-30 days), so chances of getting pregnant after unprotected sex Sept 22 or 23 are pretty slim, even more slim after Plan B. Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, but if you are still concerned you can repeat it or get a blood pregnancy test. As for the late period, since it sounds like this is the first time you have had a late period, it may just be stress related.
