i had unprotected sex a week before my period week and i took two postinor 2 tablets 10 hours after the sex. the next day i took one tablet and then other 12 hours after. i stopped the third day and contuined the fourth and fifth day. i took a total of 8 postinor tablets this month. im really scared of getting pregnant please help.
If it says to take two tabs on the instructions, TAKE the two tabs!!!! The difference of postinor 1 versus postinor 2 is that the 2 takes TWO pills. So, ya, you should take it. But again, read the instructions. Know that this isn't the first choice for many doctors for emergency contraception. It's not quite as effective and has a fair number of side effects. Your period likely will be late after this. Take a pregnancy test 2.5 weeks after the sex you had to make sure it worked.
Nobody should take a double dose of morning-after pill. (Postinor 2 is not Postinor 4.) She was supposed to take one tablet as soon as possible after the undesired exposure, and then one more exactly 12 hours after the first one. If you care for her enough to have sex, you should also care about her health as much as you care for your own. Then I had unprotected sex on October 5th and took Postinor-2 within 12 hours. Fatigue, and also vomited the next day (not within 2 hours). I think my period should arrive around the 15th October right? But it's not here yet. And also, I've been experiencing breast tenderness since 11th October. I usually do have breast tenderness before my period begins, but usually only 2-3 days before it starts.
My period came a few days after I took postinor 2. But it didn't came the next month cycle. How ?
Each tablet contains 0.75mg Levonorgestrel. and told me not to worry nothing will happen. but i am afraid please tell me if there is any chances of getting pregnant

1- we were enjoying dry humping. (no intercourse and dry humping with full clothes on)

Also, I took a pill after maybe around 14 hours after? I took the Levonorgestrel 3x/day and I am on my 3rd day taking it so I already consumed 9 tabs.

Before she get to have her second pill, we did a protected intercourse again, and i can make sure it didn't break. Does the intercourse decrease the effectiveness of the morning after pills? And if it does what can we do about it? Any responses will be highly appreciated.
Me and my girlfriend had an unprotected sex a week ago, on 22th Feb, and then she took postinor 2. this week was supposed to be her period, in which she actually had period symptoms since 2 days ago, sore and swollen breasts, abdominal pain (this time it's severe just for a day), and some light bleeding in the beginning. The period was considered light. Just yesterday we had an unprotected intercourse again and she took another postinor 2.
That being said, there is also too little information in that we have no idea when you took the Postinor 2 in comparison to when you had sex. If you took it within the time frame required (72 hrs, the earlier the better), then you should be ok.
Please try not to stress about it as that can delay your period when it comes time. Also, please be sure to use protection the future regardless where you are in your cycle if you are not ready for a child.
Hi all, I took EC postinor 2 after protected intercourse about 40 hrs later but was worried about pre *** getting onto the condom with his hands (condom had problem sliding down but it finally did) before we had intercourse. My LMP was on 14 th oct. did it on 20th oct. took EC On 22nd afternoon 3 ish. Yesterday before sleeping I was bleeding bright red. Realise this after using my vibrator but I don't think it's cause by the vibrator as ive used it tons and never bled before.
I had unprotected sex on 11th June but i took postinor 2 on that night itself & I had my period on June 15. But until today I haven't gotten my period yet. What should I do?
Anyone at all familiar with postinor 2, the two tablet dosage, right so here is my hugeee concern, me and my gf had sex on the 26/01/2018 and I used the pull out method, 10 minutes before ejaculating I pulled out anc30 minutes after she took the first pill (which is asap) and the other is to be taken 12 hours later 16 for the latest, she fell asleep and woke up and took it 16 hours later exactly, were worried sick but eventually we didn't take it on again, today on the other hand 02/02/2018
However on the 12day which was yesterday I had unprotected sex with my partner and bout 4 hours later I used postinor 1(2 tabs) and 12 hours after used another dose again of postinor 1(2tabs also)
I'm kinda worried cuz I later got to find out that antibiotics affect the rate of effectiveness of oral contraceptives. Though after using the oral contraceptive I haven't used the antibiotic now for bout 24hours. Can I continue with the antibiotics? Would the postinor have worked?
Tony is correct, if you are in fact breastfeeding you should discuss with your OB/GYN a progestin only pill ( a good example would be NORA-BE TABLET) . If not here are some low dose pills to consider.
