Then after 2 days we did non penetrative sex again and we got worried about pregnancy and she took emergency contraception again. This is emergency contraceptive twice in a week.

On July 21 my and my boyfriend had sex the condom broke we dont know if he pre-cummed, and are pretty sure he didnt ejaculate, 19 hours later I took Plan B (Levonorgestrel). I took the next pill on time. These five days I had just had some stomach pains and nausea nothing to serious but I have also have a cold at the same time so I am unsure what symptoms are from what. Anyways, the 5th day at night drops of blood were coming out and still are, I am really worried. Is everything okay?
I feared precum contact on the 5th of March, as a result I consumed a 1.5mg levonorgestrel ecp after 24hrs. Started bleeding with slight cramps on the 13th day (7days after pill consumption) which lasted for about a week. Started bleeding with period cramps on the 26th of march (my normal period time). This was lighter than my usual periods, in the sense that it lasted for only 4 days instead of the usual 5-7 days.

i heard that after taking pill bleeding happens .but the bleeding was not yet started 24 hrs has completed and my last date was29 th decmber.i was very tensed about this.i am not ready to carry.will u please provide me information when thebleeding starts and is there any chances to get after taking pill.when i get my normal period.i am so scaredabout this thing .
Hi so on the 7th of July my boyfriend came on his stomach but then after wiping if off with his hands he touched me down there, the next day on the 8th I took the morning after pill just incase ( levonorgestrel-1 GH) and that was within the first 24 hours.
This sunday I am suppose to stop taking it for my pill free week. I started bleeding yesterday (wednesday 21st may) and my friend informed me it was probably because my hormones had messed up. Now I am super scared that I could be pregnant because me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex many times because the pill is 99% protective or whatever it is. she took an I-pill which is an emergency contraceptive pill containing 1.5mg of Levonorgestrel. her last period was on the 11th of october and the one before that was on the 9th of september. but she experienced some midcycle breakthrough bleeding this month on the 30th. she is also experiencing sore breasts. what does this mean in the context of pregnancy and its chances and also in the context of side effects on her body.

Administration of most combination oral contraceptives (OCs) begins on the first Sunday after or on which bleeding has started. If you have not started menstruating, 3 weeks post partum would be when you would have most likely been told to restart your BCP.
Tony is correct, if you are in fact breastfeeding you should discuss with your OB/GYN a progestin only pill ( a good example would be NORA-BE TABLET) . If not here are some low dose pills to consider.

so early monday morning , my boyfriend and i were having sex and our condom broke . i have levonorgestrel at my disposal , but i haven't used it as a regular birth control . we had a similar situation a few months ago , and i used 4 pills of levonorgestrel immediately , & then 4 more in 12 hours following the first dosage , as recommended by a university healthcare website . everything worked out fine , & i felt very mild abdominal pain .
Also, I took a pill after maybe around 14 hours after? I took the Levonorgestrel 3x/day and I am on my 3rd day taking it so I already consumed 9 tabs.

I have taken plan B levonorgestrel 3 weeks ago. I had a heavy bleeding 3 days after I took it and it lasted only 2 days. My last period started on 18 february so in my natural cycle I would have my period today again 19 march.
I don´t feel the sympthoms of getting my period soon so i guess it´s delayed due to plan B.

I checked my period cycle and it says I ovulated a week before this incident occurred and apparently ovum disintegrate after about 24 hours of not being fertilized. I took Plan B Levonorgestrel 30 hours after the incident occurred but ive been stressing like crazy.
While I understand that there is always a risk of DVT, depression or stroke when taking contraceptive pills, I was thinking, there are other brand of pills which contains more or less the same hormones ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel. So should I be concerned? I have been on other brand of pills in the past which contained ethinylestradiol and norethisterone and I was fine with it.
Since this original post we have visited a doctor and my wife has taken the ECP levonorgestrel. She took the first pill ~32hrs after the event and a second pill about 12hrs later as per doctor's instruction.
We were unable to visit a doctor prior to this late hour due to the holiday season (Chinese New Year) over here resulting in clinics being closed. Unfortunately ECPs are not available as an over the counter drug at pharmacies.
