s not usually prescribed for this treatment but in your case it might make sense. There are also more common fluoroquinolones like Levofloxacin (Levaquin brand name), which might work but are not quite as active against chlamydia.
But as Brianbear said, we'd have to know what you're allergic to in order to really say what you might be able to take.

I immediately went to the emergency room where they took 1 look inside and gave me a referral to a ENT. The ER sent me home with Levofloxacin and a bottle of Ofloxacin and sent me on my way. A few days later I has my visit with the ENT where he took a culture of the discharge and suctioned my ear. He warned me it will still likely drain and he was correct it drained the same green mucus up until today.

Careful with Levofloxacin. Sometimes the side effects aren't worth the benefits. I took Levofloxacin to cure a bout of pneumonia. Sure enough, the infection cleared up, but my joints ached so bad I could not raise my arms to take a shower, put my clothes on, bend to tie my shoes, get in and out of a car quickly. Strength training and jogging was out of the question for a month.
