Careful with Levofloxacin. Sometimes the side effects aren't worth the benefits. I took Levofloxacin to cure a bout of pneumonia. Sure enough, the infection cleared up, but my joints ached so bad I could not raise my arms to take a shower, put my clothes on, bend to tie my shoes, get in and out of a car quickly. Strength training and jogging was out of the question for a month.

Urologists are prescribing 30-45 days of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin because they think they are treating some benign bacteria that just happens to not culture out. So what do these geniuses do? They blindly prescribe flouroquinlones that do only one thing...make MG resistant to the one antibiotic that still has some success...and that’s Moxifloxacin.
The Levofloxacin is for the Staph infection and show help cure the staph. You need to take the pills as prescribed and finish them at the end of the course. Try to gently wash the area with soap and water. Don't scrub it and don't use a wash rag as it is too rough. Wash your hands after touching it. The Levofloxacin won't work on the yeast. It is an antibiotic and works on the bacteria only. If you have yeast you can try one of those over the counter 3 day anti yeast treatments.
Levofloxacin is not the preferred drug for NGU-either a single 1.0 gram dose of azithromycin or doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 7 days are recommended therapy for NGU. Levofloxacin will probably work however and is a good drug for prostatitis.

All 3 meds mentioned are class C drugs, which means none have been tested on pregnant women, but have shown to cause defomities or problems in laboratory animals. I would strongly think twice about getting pregnant while being on all of these meds. Ask yourself if the benefits out weigh the risks.

I now understand that levofloxacin can cure E. I thought it had to cure C or G, which would in turn cure my E. But it seems, though I'd like someone to confirm it if you have any knowledge, that levofloxacin directly cures E.

Epididymitis was cured by levofloxacin in 2 days but why and what caused my E in the first place?
Theory:
Maybe my scrotum skin was weak during sex and it got infected during the sex process, but not by any STD.
So the other major class of antibiotics you could consider is fluoroquinolones. A particularly strong one is moxifloxacin (Avelox is the brand name). It's not usually prescribed for this treatment but in your case it might make sense. There are also more common fluoroquinolones like Levofloxacin (Levaquin brand name), which might work but are not quite as active against chlamydia.
