Is 500 mg of Levofloxacin every 48 hours suppose to make a 70 year old diabetic dialysis patient drowsy, fatigued, emotionally disturbed, and delirious?

m on the medication, azithromycin dosage is over and 2 tablets left for levofloxacin, and my eye redness has reduced a bit and the burning during urination reduced a bit too but not completely gone.
What i want to know is:-
1.Will this antibiotic course be enough to cure my conjunctivitis?
2.Should I be taking antibiotic eye drops as well?
3.should i go see an ophthalmologist?
4.My vision gets a bit blurred at times, but washing with water or blinking a few times fixes it.

I now understand that levofloxacin can cure E. I thought it had to cure C or G, which would in turn cure my E. But it seems, though I'd like someone to confirm it if you have any knowledge, that levofloxacin directly cures E.

Epididymitis was cured by levofloxacin in 2 days but why and what caused my E in the first place?

Maybe my scrotum skin was weak during sex and it got infected during the sex process, but not by any STD.

for the past three years i have had burning only AFTER I urinate. I had unprotected sex with a female partner three years ago. Got tested and was positive for chlamydia. I got treated and was put on doxycycline. Got re-tested and I am cured of it but the symptoms never went away. For the past three years after I urinate and after sex (ejaculation) it burns really bad in the middle urethra and part of of the penis never during urination.
doxycycline 100 mg twice per day for 7 days from 30 days ago, levofloxacin once per day for 5 days (I think; dosage forgotten)
And the question is: does this sound like chlamydia? or any other STD in fact? I'm thinking it isn't by the timeframe of last genital sexual contact, and that I took BOTH doxycyclien and levofloxacin which are effective against Chlamydia trachomatis. But I just want to ask here to see what you guys think about the symptoms related to my testes.
First, u need to have a definitive diagnosis. You need to have urine test, pcr test, bacteria culture. Your doctor cannot and should not jump into giving antibiotics straight away.
I started 100 mg doxycycline (big mistake) without taking any test. I then visited my go who put me on one week 250 my levofloxacin and pyridium. The pain did not go away. I visited. A urologist who conducted two rounds of blood and urine test- no infection. A week after doxy dosage I took a std test for gonorrhoea chlamydia and ureaplasma. All negative. I was worried about herpes all along and Borge the urologist and venrealogist said unlikely.
The reason is that in a small amount of cases it has caused swelling of the brain. If you look at the label on cough syrup for children, even those typically recommend for age 6 and up (at least the brands I have seen.)
When my 2 1/2 year old has a cold with a cough I give him milk slightly warmed with honey in it. I have also given him a teaspoon of honey on it's own. It works extremely well.
Careful with Levofloxacin. Sometimes the side effects aren't worth the benefits. I took Levofloxacin to cure a bout of pneumonia. Sure enough, the infection cleared up, but my joints ached so bad I could not raise my arms to take a shower, put my clothes on, bend to tie my shoes, get in and out of a car quickly. Strength training and jogging was out of the question for a month.
d like to ask the question in the title. I know that levaquin is for killing bacteria and that HIV is a virus. Yet, can levaquin indirectly prevent ars symptoms from showing up? I ask because I don't know if ars symptoms are directly related to the virus and seroconversion or if it's a byproduct of it.

Hi, probably this is sinusitis. Pressure or headache while bending is seen in sinusitis. Accumulation of mucus in sinuses behind cheeks, eyes etc.causes these kind of symptoms. Try steam inhalation, anti inflammatory drugs along with anti histaminics and antibiotics (amoxicillin, levofloxacin etc) for a week or so. I had the symptoms for 5 months with all urine and semen tests negative and left the infection untreated. Until 5 months when a urethral swab showed staphylococcus pneumoniae. I was given 3 injections of penicilin with long absorbation, but the symptoms persist. 2 weeks after the last injection the microbioligal sample was negative, but DNA showed gardnerella vaginalis and I took 7 days Levofloxacin. They gave me 4 pills to take all at once (azithromicin) i believe and 1 pill for gonorreha just in case. Symptoms did not go away. Got retested a month after, chlamydia tested positive again. They prescribed me Levofloxacin for 7 days, 1 pill a day, of which i took the last pill monday. Today we are wednesday. Now one of the symptoms i was having was a slight sticky clear discharge at the tip of my penis. This symptom was not present during the whole 7 days i took the levofloxacin.
