For burning throat, gargle with salt water immediately and keep doing it.
Take Montelukast+levocetirizine for 10 days one daily(0-0-1) preferably night.
take multivitamins and gargle with Tantum before food, betadine(1:5) and hydrogen peroxide(1:10) after food for three days. Take dichlo for pain relieving for 2 days(1-0-1).
If symptoms persist, rush to the ENT specialist.
I'm not sure how long it's been, but I think it was a couple or so weeks ago when I noticed that I was getting a rash on the rim of my belly button, and a little in my actual belly button. After some time it spread to the skin around my belly button, and recently, it spread even further. I'm starting to get worried. I thought it was nothing and that it would go away eventually, but im starting to think it may be something troublesome.
I have seen an ENT specialist at Max Hospitals Delhi, and he has prescribed Montelukast Sodium and Levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets for allergy...could allergy make some people choke on food?

I just found out I'm pregnant and I don't have an appointmet with my doctor for two weeks. I had been taking singulair and zyrtec but I stopped until I can clear it with my doctor. Are these medicines safe and if not is there a safe one out there?
Hydoxyzine worked wonders for me (once I got a high enough dose). I take 25 - 50 mg. every 6 hours. I had a bad rash all over my body except my face and buttocks and it stopped the itching and is clearing the rash.
I wish they would have started it in Dec,. but it seems with these side effects we are all re-inventing the wheel. The docs seem clueless.
As long as the allergic trigger is there you are likely to have symptoms. Therapy with Montelukast is long term, you will have to discuss with your treating doctor for duration of therapy. Regards.
I took Montelukast (Singulair) for about one month and began having extreme nightmares and panic attacks. I stopped the montelukast immediately, and the nightmares stopped. But the panic attacks continue. I know others have had similar reactions, but I wonder if anyone has found out how to make the effects go away? I have been off the medication for over 3 months now.
I have been to several ENT specialsits but all of them prescribe me nasal sprays and a montelukast tablet at night which really doesnt help.
Symptoms:
1. Constant thick white jelly mucus feeling like its coming from the back of my nose.
2. Balance issues : kind of like swaying motion.
3. always drained out and feel like sitting down all the time
4. No mucus present in my nose ever. Its like my nose is constantly dry.

I am 38 year old female. I had pneumonia 6 months ago, which was treated with antibiotics. I got well but my cough continued. I cough (mostly dry with some mucus) throughout the day and it cough bouts are horrible at nights. I ignored the cough thinking it will fade away. Few months ago, I started experiencing breathlessness and tightness in chest alongwith coughing. My doctor said it was allergy and prescribed some medicines for lowering eosinophil count. I tried different creams like Funbac A, Bethametasone N, Skipyem cream and several , ,, it only go and come back immediately I stop using the cream. I was prescribed drugs like Montelukast, Loratidine, Ketoconazole, Dexamethasone, it comes back after treatment. Please I need your help.
These include levocetirizine, loratidine etc. this can be combined with nasal decongestants (combination are available) and should be taken against prescription. Take care and regards.
He diagnosed me with bronchitis brought on my the sinus issue and scheduled an appointment with an allergist. Than ran the allergy test with negative results. Yes, all 58 pin pokes in the back were negative and then 17 injections under the skin of my forearms all came back negative. I have the septum surgery, that was 4 months ago. I've tried all kinds of meds to no avail. I'll list them at the end of my post.
my doctor told me to take montelukast sodium with zyrtec. if i take these at night, will they still be as effective the next day? will i still be drowsy all day? Do you have any other ideas for me to use to combat my solar urticaria?
Accolate (zafirlukast). Both Singulair (montelukast) and Accolate are leukotriene modifiers. It is available in tablet form. Tablets of 10 mg and 20 mg.
he prescribed me cefunonyme (250mg) + potassium clavulanate(125mg), levocitrizine (10mg) + montelukast (10mg) , povidone iodine gargle for 10 days course otherwise surgery is required. i have taken medicines for 4 days and 50% improvement is noticed. i am afraid of surgery, what to do in this case?
