I had that problem with Lamictal with the dissolving tabs but I was fine with the regular ones. Because dissolving tablets are absorbed very quickly the side effects can sometimes occur very quickly. If you continue to have a problem you might ask your psychiatrist about standard tablets that are swallowed. I am sure they are available that way as well.

Didn't go to the ER but had one miserable day, most of which was spent laying down. Such a waste of time almost daily now. I have had IV Zofran before and I do have the tablets here. Ive heard of the Oral Dissolving tablets made for sublingual administration but I highly doubt that they are available in a 25mg formulation. Maybe 2.5mg, but certainly not 25mg. To put that into perspective, taking 25mg of klonopin would be equivalent to taking 500mg valium - a presposterous dose, and MUCH, MUCH more than ANY reputable MD would prescribe due to concerns about respiratory and other CNS depressant effects.

Hydoxyzine worked wonders for me (once I got a high enough dose). I take 25 - 50 mg. every 6 hours. I had a bad rash all over my body except my face and buttocks and it stopped the itching and is clearing the rash. I wish they would have started it in Dec,. but it seems with these side effects we are all re-inventing the wheel. The docs seem clueless.

Ok...so I had my appt. with the Psych today. I thought I was going to have to go in and show him the several pages of notes I had on Naltrexone and try to convince him to let me try it to alleviate Depression and Anxiety. Well can you imagine my surprise when some of the first words out of his mouth were, " I think I'd like to have you give something called Naltrexone a try." We discussed the 50 mg dose as opposed to 1.75-4.5mg dose and he ordered blood work.
