Hydoxyzine worked wonders for me (once I got a high enough dose). I take 25 - 50 mg. every 6 hours. I had a bad rash all over my body except my face and buttocks and it stopped the itching and is clearing the rash. I wish they would have started it in Dec,. but it seems with these side effects we are all re-inventing the wheel. The docs seem clueless.

Maam, further to my query on 27/12/10 I would like to inform you that my dad is taking Oxcarbazepine Tablets IP ( Oxetol) 300 mg in the morning and 450 mg at night. Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

I did ip chemo on my 1st diagnosis. It was taxol day1 iv, cisplatin day 2, ip, then taxol ip day 8. that was considered 1 round. I did 4 rds, then due to stomach issues and dehydration, did the last 4 rds of carbo/taxol iv. There are ladies on here that did 6 rds without problems. The different chemos affect us all different. It will have to be done whereever your dr sends you for chemo. You might try vit c powder (health food store) but unless your pnuemonia was viral it was not contagious.

No,she is not on chemo therapy,she's on Faslodex250 mg.shots,Anastrozole 1 mg,and medicine from the doctor for itching and dry skin, plus a cream or lotion they put on her alot. My father is having the honavan tablets because his psa level was diagnosed as having gone up from 22 to 33.
