letrozole to get rid of gyno

I was wondering if anyone has used letrozole to get pregnant and if so did you have any side effects while taking it? My doc just prescribed it and I am just curious about it's effectiveness..

I have had this yeaa infection for over a month, seen my gyno got a prescription, andit won't seem to go away (forget about a sex life with my husband) I get these little which I like to call prickly lil shock chills every now and then in the private area, I have these lil painful pimply thngs slowly going away, I take probiotic vitamins along with garlic vitamins I also took the monistat 1 which is supposed to cure it up in 4 days and that was about 8 days ago, some mornings I wake up feeli

I have had yeast for 6 months now. This happened ever since I was on a double dose of antibiotics. My body just hasn't been the same since. Over the counter monistat works to clear the symptoms and then 2 weeks later its all completely back. I was given a one time pill by the doctor and the same thing happened. gone then back.

Ive recently turned 18 and ive only had one sexually partner and still with him, i went doctors and found out ive got gential warts but i was also abused a few years ago, and i know that it can take time for them to pop up, im pregnant aswell and just wondering if i can have any treatment to get rid of the warts quickly as i dont know if i can have a natural birth or a sun roof baby?.

Went to a fertility doc. Underwent laparoscopy to get rid of scar tissues and a bad tube. Had another iui done today. Will hv to do another tomorrow. So we will see how it works.

I used letrozole after 6 cycles of clomid didnt work. I got a BFP and the second letrozole cycle ( with IUI ). Good luck!

In my case I opted for clomid/iui because of the costs of letrozole. This last cycle I was successful with a combo of clomid/injectibles/iui. Hang in there and good luck!!

It is pretty common for clomid to fail - only about 50% of women who ovulate on clomid actually get pregnant. For those who do not get pregnant on clomid, the success rate with the injections is very good. The drawbacks with injections are: 1) you have to give yourself a needle every day, 2) there is a higher risk of twins, triplets, etc although if given carefully this risk can be reduced, 3) the injections are much more expensive than clomid or letrozole. I definitely would not give up!

The only side effects I have had are hot flashes in the beginning but I do get stabbing headaches occasionally.Has anyone else had to go from letrozole to something else that helped get them pregnant.

I'm not overweight, and my cycles come every month but not consistently. Well, this entire month of Nov., I have not gotten my period. where did you buy the letrozole, my gynae prescribed it but I cant find it anywhere at the chemists.

I know that HPV cannot be cured (unless the body becomes immune to the virus) but I would like to get rid of my warts. I went to the gyno and got some of it removed. Typically, letrozole does have a favorable side effect profile in relation to toxicity. This doesn't mean it is side effect free, however. The trade off is that it does appear affective in terms of prolonging recurrence.

I used to have 9 to 16 days of bleeding before letrozole! After being on letrozole, how many days are you bleeding? This is my second time with Letrozole and I had 9 days of bleeding the first time. By Day 5 I'm ready to quit letrozole because it makes my bones a bit achy, my breasts are super tender and less firm, and overall I feel like I constantly have a buzz that you get with one glass of wine.

On days 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 I need to take 1T/day of Letrozole (to stimulate folicle growth). From day 8 onwards 2T/day of Progynova (to ensure thickening of my uteral lining) and from the 3rd day after ovulation, I need to take Duphaston. I can tolerate Letrozole and Duphaston without any problems. But Progynova gives me horrible side effects: dizziness, extreme low energy level and anxiety attacks (never had anxiety before).

Hi! If you were my patient, I would try switching to Letrozole and possibly adding Metformin to your regimen. I would continue with up to five more IUIs. If it hasn't worked by then, I would refer you for IVF. Good luck!

Glad to hear less side effects - i was a raging biatch on clomid - hmm - no wonder i didnt get a BFP - great way to get DH in th emood - LOL. I also have to go for CD3 labs - sort of grosses me out to have AF and a trans-vaginal US. is it as bad as i think it will be? I have only had CD blood b4 - never an us. i am thrilled with this RE. 2 friend have used them (both IVF) and one had a baby in july - the oher due in Oct. And they are one of the 2 highly recommended in the ATL area.
