Anyway, a month later, (yesterday) I was prescribed lansoprazole but I have done some research and it says lansoprazole can cause kidney failure. Should I take these tablets or wait till Friday and get a second opinion from the hospital on my assessment?

pylori after having a breath test done, and have been prescribed by my doctor - lansoprazole 30 mg - metronidazole 400 mg - amoxicillin 500 mg. All three medacation taken twice a day for a 7 day course.I am now into the 5 th day of taking them.There seems to be no side effects, the problems of bloating,discomfort (painfull at times) that comes and goes througout the day,has not eased at all.
If these combanation of tablets were going to work,would my symptons have eased by now ?.

I would like to add that Xanax or Niravam are for short term use only, i.e. four months or less. Or better yet, on a prn (as needed) basis. After four months of continuous use, Xanax and Niravam will lose their efficacy.
I've been taking them for a week and no change or luck yet. But sometimes it takes a couple weeks. You can take them orally and/or insert them vaginally. I've only taken them orally but going to begin vaginally inserting soon as that way it more effective.

I found out about my tumor neally 10 years ago. since then i've been on tablets, now its dostinex 2 times a week. I'm a mother of 2 wonderful kids and am only 31 years of age. i havent had an operation yet and keep getting the run around. I've been through hell and just want it to stop. I get headaches regularly have incredibly low self esteam I have trouble looking in the mirror.

Have any of you ladies taken this drug during or after pregnancy? I'm curious as to if this drug has an effect on the developing Fetus, and on the infant seeing as how it has such a negative effect on so many who have taken it.
I have had GERD for over 10 years (been taking lansoprazole 30mg that whole time), and was recently diagnosed with a hiatus hernia and chronic gastritis after an endoscopy (along with very low vitamin D levels). Blood test does not indicate celiac disease, although results of intestinal biopsies not yet known. What I do not understand is that my weight is going UP, despite dieting. I am at my wits end and getting so low because of this. Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening??

Although, everyone is different and all of the triptans on the market have been proven effective in clinical trials, so please discuss with your doctor which triptan would be the most appropriate in your situation.
