I have noticed as this was happening in hindsight I was/am feeling more tired, I find it very hard to wake up in the morning and just generally tired(but not in a depressed way) Also my heart rate during exercising has been pretty consistent at 170 beats a minute but I just took it again these last couple of weeks and it has been around 200 beats a minute and afterwards takes about 10-20minutes for it to start to go back to normal range. Feel quite like crap until it calms back down.

Some SSRI's will impact heart rate so tell your doctor your concerns because you experienced bradycardia on prior meds. My teenage son experienced bradycardia after being prescribed Lexapro. There are many choices in SSRI's so find one that works for you. There is probably nothing wrong with your heart.

lFor several years I was treated for bipolar with lithium, clonipin, and one antipsycotic after another. I live in a very small area and our county mental health dept. shut down. When I went to our community clinic they took me off of lithium because I was losing my hair and the clonipin because it COULD be misused. and put on serequel which I was told would help all my symptoms. It did not. Now I can't drive, hell I can't even leave my house.

Meds are pretty individual. Lamotrigine would be the one I'd ask for. It has a low side effect profile and is good more for the downs than the ups. If you are up more than you are down - lithium may be a better choice. Although with lithium you will need regular blood testing. Depakene is the other mood stabilizer but I know very little about it except it can make your hair fall out. I had a hard go around with the antipsychotics. Lots of side effects But finally Abilify works great for me.

Preferably to get the heart rate up, but even just walking helps. It raises endorphine levels, and helps stabilize brain chemicals. The second if he is having anxiety is meditation. Even something as simple as diaphramatic breathing can really slow down the anxiety response. And he is not going to 'feel' like doing these things so he may need your encouragement or participation. I think they're confused. If you read the full prescribing information, it's the PILL that screws with the lamotrigine, not the other way around. It's not like a lot of other anticonvulsants. Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever has an adverse reaction to Lamotrigine i.e. breaking out in rash, very itchy, red patches all over skin? I'm afraid to try other drugs due to this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have just been to see the neurologist and she has supplied me the names of these two medications Lamotrigine or topiramate, which i am to decide which one to use. I have done some research on these two medications mainly on there side effects. A decision will be made on this once I have been to have an EEG.

I am currently taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg, Lamotrigine 25 mg, Zyrtec, Levothyroxine 75mg, and Atenolol 50mg. I started Lamotrigine (lamictal generic) 2 weeks ago. On day 9, I developed severe diarrhea and cramps. It was slowed down with 1 pill of Immodium, but after 2 days I decided to eat a "regular" meal and got diarrhea again. So it's been on an off for 6 days, and this morning it was worse than it was the first day!

About a year ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism caused by graves disease(which causes metabolic problems, mood, anxiousness, insomnia, fast heart rate), in the last few months my thyroid is in remission so I was taken off anti-thyroid medications. Within the last month or so my depression has become unbearable but im still having maniac episodes, which can range from panic attacks to irrational behavior. Two weeks ago my family doctor said I am bipolar.

Im 12+3 , dont know the sex yet but the heart rate at my last apappointment was 167 . Possibly a girl ?

I'm 17 weeks 5 days, is it normal for the baby's heart rate to be 175? The doctor told me average is 160-165.

My son's ranges between 140-160
