Im suppose to be staring clomid and my doctor said it would cost me up to 1600 is this information correct because i thougth that the medication was cheap could somebody give me feed back on how much?
Only a few interactions between lamotrigine and other drugs have been identified. Lamotrigine increases the plasma level of carbamazepine and its metabolites. Carbamazepine lowers the concentration of lamotrigine in the blood.
Valproate doubles the plasma level of lamotrigine, and the level of valproate is decreased by about 25% in people taking lamotrigine.
Phenobarbital and primidone lower the plasma level of lamotrigine by about 40%.
I think they're confused. If you read the full prescribing information, it's the PILL that screws with the lamotrigine, not the other way around. It's not like a lot of other anticonvulsants. I take the Similac /w DHA. They used to sell them at Walmart now I can only find them at Walgreens. They are about $12.00 after you take the coupon out of the box, lol.
If you can take prozac alone, it is less likely you have bipolar because those types of drugs can spring a bipolar person into mania if they are not prescribed with a mood stabilizer like lamotrigine or lithium. Once you get medicaid it would be worth going to see a psychiatrist and get tested.
For cheap drugs check out Walmart. I think, although I could be wrong, that generic prozac is on their list of discounted drugs. Under $10 if I remember correctly.
I am currently taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg, Lamotrigine 25 mg, Zyrtec, Levothyroxine 75mg, and Atenolol 50mg.
I started Lamotrigine (lamictal generic) 2 weeks ago. On day 9, I developed severe diarrhea and cramps. It was slowed down with 1 pill of Immodium, but after 2 days I decided to eat a "regular" meal and got diarrhea again. So it's been on an off for 6 days, and this morning it was worse than it was the first day!
My understanding is lithium helps more with the mania than lamotrigine does. Lamotrigine is really good for bipolar depression.
On a side note. It may be very odd to do so but buying your daughter something like a vibrator may keep her out of trouble. She can't control the hypersexuality urges and if she doesn't have an outlet that is safe she'll go to the unsafe ones. It may also be a good idea to take her to a planned parenthood advisor so they can teach her about safe sex.

The best meter is the one they use at the hospital I forget the brand/modle number. Im sure they can tell you. Cost about $5,000 and $5.00 a test strip.
Walmart has meters for $14.99 and $26 for 100 test strips.
ALL meters sold to the public have to be %20 accurate 90% of the time.
My Best meter is the one the insurance will cover the cost of the test strips.
