My HBV DNA level is sometimes undetectable, but sometime a few hundreds. Will this means my body contract some other virus? It is because I know lamivudine also treat HIV virus as well.

Lamivudine 150 is meant for HIV patients or patients coinfected with HBV and HIV.Only Lamivudine 100 is usually prescribed for hepatitis b patients.But whatever be the dosage its not at all safe to be treated with lam. due to its high risk of resistance associated with it.Moreover it is also very weak as compared to the newer medicines like entecavir and tenofovir.You should change your doctor and see to it that your new doctor prescribes you entecavir/tenofovir.
But I can not move on since I know the lamivudine, one of main anti-HIV medicine for preventing HIV infection in the PEP procedure, will delay the window period, although it must be used with another drug and in the 24 hours after exposure.
I know you hold the opinion that anti-HIV medicine will delay the window period, My question is:
1. Can you let me know: does the lamivudine will prolong the window period or interfere the test result?

16 days ago Iwa in Thailand and had sex with a sex worker (lady boy) I was a bit drunk, just remember that I had a condom, but cannot tell that for her (can't remember). I was also a reciever. After 40 hours I went to the first clinic and they gave me PEP (TenofovirDF, emtricitabine + lamivudine). The clinic looks very unprofessional, but it was my only chance. I didn't do any hiv or std test, a month before the exposure i had HIV test which was negative.
I certainly swallowed a bit of his cum during the oral sex and the next day discovered he is taking Atripla (medicine for hiv treatment which is said to reduce the viral load to undectable in most cases).

entecavir, 1,5% resistance but cannot be used on those using lamivudine because in this case resistance can go higher than 50%

I have no history of ever having risky unprotected sex, MSM or any kind of drugs and I have no STD to the best of my knowledge. I was last tested for HIV 3 months back, n was clear. About one year ago when I conducted Hepatitis B profile, I had NON RELICATIVE INFECTION but about one year on lamivudine I am now REPLICATIVE. Please what does this suggest? I am planning to stop taking lamivudine because it gives me so much side effect ranging from stomach discomforts and back pains and general weakness. The doctor I met this time related all these complaints to lamivudine.

Doctor said i was a candidate for treatment and recommended Lam. Being taken lam ever since, but recently feeling very uncomfortable in the liver region(sometimes affecting my sleep). This is Africa (Nigeria) options and info very limited. due for another viral load test in a month what should i do.
