Junel birth control 21 day

Common Questions and Answers about Junel birth control 21 day

junel

Avatar n tn I recently changed my birth control pills from junel Fe 1/20 to Azurette. I had been on Junel fe for years, and was on Azurette before as well. I decided to switch back to Azurette because it helps my acne. However, I was advised to use a backup method for a month when exchanging. I finished my Junel Fe and got my period, then started Azurette on the Sunday after my period. I had the condom break the following Sunday after.
Avatar f tn Hi! Im 21...on the birth control "Junel" which is generic for Loestrin 24. I had my period September 21..and recently changed to Junel 3 months ago. I did not have a period in October and have taken several pregnancy tests. I have not taken a pregnancy test since this has occurred.
Avatar f tn Hey ladies I'm to my doctors appointment tomorrow after having my baby last month but I wanna what birth control you had or liked that didn't give you alot of side effects I know everyone different but this my first time being on it =)
Avatar m tn MY grandmother had breast cancer at the age of 50. Should I be worried about infertility, and would this birth control be safe? Please help desperately needed. I dont want to take birth control if it really isnt needed. Also I dont trust me doctor, because she always wants to see me for less than 5 minutes and kick me out asap. I dont think she knows what shes doing and need another opinion.
Avatar f tn I've been taking Junel 21 day pill since April of this year. Before, my period has always been regular. Each month something different always happened while I was taking the pill. The first month was spotting which is normal when you first start. My period came on. Second month I had breast tenderness and my period came on that Sunday of me taking the last pill.
Avatar n tn Im six days late for my period. Im on the birth control LoEstrin and my boyfriend and I use condoms so I didnt think I was pregnant. I took a test two days ago to be sure and it came out negative. Is there another reason that Im so late? Is it okay to be this late even on birth control? Could I actually be pregnant and the test was just a false negative?
Avatar f tn So ive been taking Junel Fe wich is a type of birth control and i accidently missed one day. For 5 days i stayed on track but yet i am still bleeding when i am not supposed to be. The periods are also weird they are black, gooey, and sticky. I fill up a panny liner per half day. I have pain in my right rib and it moved to around my belly button. I still have pain in my rib as well. I am worried and would like an answer to what might be happening to my body.
Avatar f tn I'm on Junel Fe birth control. My periods use to be 5 days before I started taking the pill in January 2014. I've noticed since February that my periods have been pretty consistent. They come on Mondays and have lasted 4 days. This month (June) my period lasted 3 days. My boobs are still a little sore. Should I be worried.
Avatar f tn t a form of birth control. I continued to take my birth control for the remainder of the pack. I take junel, only 3 weeks of active pills then a week where you don't take any pills. I don't normally have a period every month as I tend to just start the next pack immediately after I finish one. This is the first time I have tried to have a period for the month.
Avatar f tn I was regular until October when I began having severe cramps and periods lasting 21 days with very heavy bleeding. I went to my doctor who put me on Junel (birth control) and the periods slowed some, but I had a lot of bleeding even on the birth control. Stumped, my doc referred me to an OBGYN that specializes in complicated cases. After a pelvic ultrasound (and a lot of blood loss, because by this time it was already January!), the doc saw a tennis ball sized cyst on my ovary.
Avatar n tn Hello, So my pharmacy keeps switching my birth control brand. Every 3 months, I get a pack of 3 months worth of pills. Every time I go to my pharmacy to get my BC, they switch me from Junel FE 1/20 to Blisovi FE 1/20. They always say they are out of whichever brand I am currently using at the time. I Googled both brands and they have the same ingredients in them. I was wondering if it is unhealthy to keep switching brands even though they have the same stuff in the pills?
Avatar f tn I take Junel birth control pills but ran out. The pharmacy didnt have any more refills and my doctor is hard to reach. I supposed to started taking my new pack last Thursday. What should I do?
Avatar f tn I have been on Junel Fe for a couple months now me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on the 20th while I went to go visit him .I lost my birth control the day before and spotted two days later help ?
Avatar n tn Maybe you should request different birth control? Junel is typically one the insurance company likes the most, but there are other ones like Larin Fe. Each birth control pill has slightly different chemical make up that work for some women while can makes others feel side effects and sick. I’m also taking Junel Fe, and it’s worked alright for me, so I’d recommend asking to switch pills.
1594124 tn?1297212701 I am on Junel Fe 1.5/30 birth control pills and have been on them for about 3 or 4 months now. I forgot to take my pills on the 30th and 31st and according to the ovulation calender I was fertile and ovulated the 24-29th of jan. My husband and I had unprotected sex (other than when i remembered to take my pill). I have had brown spotting and nauseas for a couple days.
Avatar f tn I take Junel fe 1/20 birth control pill at pretty much the same time every day. I have been having lots of sex without any other protection. I have also been on 3 different antibiotics in the past month which I’m not sure if they affect the pill or not. I am suppose to start my period in a few days but I have been having lower cramping at night, breast tenderness and nausea up to a week & 1/2 before my period which is not normal for me.
Avatar m tn Hi there, Few women who take these pills may experience breakthrough bleeding which occurs in between menstrual periods. Breakthrough bleeding is common during the first three months of starting the pills. Taking the pill at the same time each day may reduce the risk of breakthrough bleeding. If you are anxious and concerned it is best to consult a gynecologist and get your doubts clarified. I hope it helps. Best luck and regards!
Avatar f tn I've been on birth control (Junel FE), taking it regularly like I'm supposed to. I had sex and didn't use a condom but I did take a Plan B pill within 24 hours. This is the third day of no period (sometimes my period takes one or two days).
Avatar f tn The doctor prescribed me to use Junel Fe (birth control pill) for three months to initiate three menstrual cycles. The idea is that my period would "shed" the polyp. I am very afraid of taking the birth control because of the horrible side effects I've had in the past from it (mostly terrible anger, followed by complete apathy). Should I just take the birth control that the doctor prescribed? How important is it that this polyp disappears, if there even is one?
Avatar n tn My boyfriend and I had sex without a condom and he ejaculated in me for the first time. After he ejaculated it burned, and still hurts a little. I am on Junel Fe birth control, and usually i miss my pills but for the past month I haven't missed one. I am supposed to get my period this week. Is there a chance of me being pregnant? HELP!
Avatar m tn I started my second month on junel fe birth control 4 days ago. the second night i forgot to take it at my regular time of approximately 10pm. and I ended up taking it at like 5am. is there a chance of pregnancy?
Avatar f tn I went to my OBGYN last week and she gave me my first Birth Control pills for me to try. She gave me Junel 1/20, which are three weeks of small yellow pills and one week off so I can get my period. I was reading in all the little information attached with the pills that my medication for my seizures (Trokendi XR) may cause the Birth Control to break down and lose its ability to take effect. I have tried calling my doctor's office all week with no answer.
Avatar f tn I have been taking the birth control pills (Junel FE) for over a year now, and have been sexually active with the same man for 2 years. I have never missed a pill intill recently. I had sex without using a condom on tuesday and he pulled out right after he began ejaculating, i took wed. and thurs. pill but missed fridays and didnt realize intill i took tonights pill which is saturday.
Avatar n tn I've been taking Junel Fe 1/20 for a few years. For the first time since I've been on this birth control, I missed a period. I've also been having weird non-period symptoms. Did not miss a pill. My period is 6 days late. Took a test this morning, negative. What is going on?
Avatar f tn Hey ladies. This is my second pack of my new birth control, but during the first pack I had bleeding on the active pill… and NO bleeding on the placebo. Why would this be? I even took 2 pregnancy test just to be sure.
1429510 tn?1283125376 Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks ago (December 23). I am on birth control pills (Junel 21: generic Loestrin 24) and he used a condom. However, when we had sex I had just finished my period but it wasn't time to resume taking my pills. It was our first time...so it didn't go on very long. The condom didn't break or slip off. These past few days I've been a little nauseated.
Avatar f tn I'm going to have my first IVF cycle in May, and therefore, my RE has me on birth control pills right now. I'm just wondering, is it normal to spot while on these pills? The last time I took birth control was 10+ years ago, so I really don't remember. I'm on week two of the pills and have been spotting off and on for 3 days now. And sometimes it's heavy enough where I feel like I need a tampon. . . although it's definitely not as heavy as my period. Is this normal?
