I recently changed my birth control pills from junel Fe 1/20 to Azurette. I had been on Junel fe for years, and was on Azurette before as well. I decided to switch back to Azurette because it helps my acne. However, I was advised to use a backup method for a month when exchanging. I finished my Junel Fe and got my period, then started Azurette on the Sunday after my period. I had the condom break the following Sunday after.
I'm on Junel Fe birth control. My periods use to be 5 days before I started taking the pill in January 2014. I've noticed since February that my periods have been pretty consistent. They come on Mondays and have lasted 4 days. This month (June) my period lasted 3 days. My boobs are still a little sore. Should I be worried.

So my pharmacy keeps switching my birth control brand. Every 3 months, I get a pack of 3 months worth of pills. Every time I go to my pharmacy to get my BC, they switch me from Junel FE 1/20 to Blisovi FE 1/20. They always say they are out of whichever brand I am currently using at the time. I Googled both brands and they have the same ingredients in them. I was wondering if it is unhealthy to keep switching brands even though they have the same stuff in the pills?

t a form of birth control. I continued to take my birth control for the remainder of the pack. I take junel, only 3 weeks of active pills then a week where you don't take any pills. I don't normally have a period every month as I tend to just start the next pack immediately after I finish one. This is the first time I have tried to have a period for the month.
My boyfriend and I had sex without a condom and he ejaculated in me for the first time. After he ejaculated it burned, and still hurts a little. I am on Junel Fe birth control, and usually i miss my pills but for the past month I haven't missed one. I am supposed to get my period this week. Is there a chance of me being pregnant? HELP!
I went to my OBGYN last week and she gave me my first Birth Control pills for me to try. She gave me Junel 1/20, which are three weeks of small yellow pills and one week off so I can get my period. I was reading in all the little information attached with the pills that my medication for my seizures (Trokendi XR) may cause the Birth Control to break down and lose its ability to take effect. I have tried calling my doctor's office all week with no answer.
Maybe you should request different birth control? Junel is typically one the insurance company likes the most, but there are other ones like Larin Fe. Each birth control pill has slightly different chemical make up that work for some women while can makes others feel side effects and sick. I’m also taking Junel Fe, and it’s worked alright for me, so I’d recommend asking to switch pills.
I'm going to have my first IVF cycle in May, and therefore, my RE has me on birth control pills right now.
I'm just wondering, is it normal to spot while on these pills? The last time I took birth control was 10+ years ago, so I really don't remember. I'm on week two of the pills and have been spotting off and on for 3 days now. And sometimes it's heavy enough where I feel like I need a tampon. . . although it's definitely not as heavy as my period.
Is this normal?

Few women who take these pills may experience breakthrough bleeding which occurs in between menstrual periods. Breakthrough bleeding is common during the first three months of starting the pills. Taking the pill at the same time each day may reduce the risk of breakthrough bleeding. If you are anxious and concerned it is best to consult a gynecologist and get your doubts clarified. I take Junel fe 1/20 birth control pill at pretty much the same time every day. I have been having lots of sex without any other protection. I have also been on 3 different antibiotics in the past month which I’m not sure if they affect the pill or not. I am suppose to start my period in a few days but I have been having lower cramping at night, breast tenderness and nausea up to a week & 1/2 before my period which is not normal for me.
With PCOS, chances are you will have more troublesome cysts in the future. I have PCOS also. It sounds like, your doc is hoping the birth control pills will resolve your cyst. It is common to try birth control for a month or two for certain types of cysts. I have actually had large painful cysts that had to be removed surgically. I hope the Junel does the trick and your feeling better in no time.
Hi! Im 21...on the birth control "Junel" which is generic for Loestrin 24. I had my period September 21..and recently changed to Junel 3 months ago. I did not have a period in October and have taken several pregnancy tests. Then this past week when i was supposed to have my november period, i only had some brown discharge and its not consistent..just at some point everyday. I have not taken a pregnancy test since this has occurred.
I have been taking the birth control pills (Junel FE) for over a year now, and have been sexually active with the same man for 2 years. I have never missed a pill intill recently. I had sex without using a condom on tuesday and he pulled out right after he began ejaculating, i took wed. and thurs. pill but missed fridays and didnt realize intill i took tonights pill which is saturday.
I'm on birth control (Junel Fe 120). The last time I had sexual intercourse was July 11. I had to stop taking birth control around July 7 because I finished a pack, but couldn't get a new pack due to a backup on my insurance. I was off the pill for a month. I had 2 cycles since then. One very heavy like it was before I got on the pill, then one light because I started taking the pill again. I'm 8 days late on my period this month and I don't know why.
If I were you I would talk to your Dr. to make sure they don't mess with your birth control. If they do then you can discuss a different birth control method that would work with the medication your on.
So ive been taking Junel Fe wich is a type of birth control and i accidently missed one day. For 5 days i stayed on track but yet i am still bleeding when i am not supposed to be. The periods are also weird they are black, gooey, and sticky. I fill up a panny liner per half day. I have pain in my right rib and it moved to around my belly button. I still have pain in my rib as well. I am worried and would like an answer to what might be happening to my body.

The doctor prescribed me to use Junel Fe (birth control pill) for three months to initiate three menstrual cycles. The idea is that my period would "shed" the polyp. I am very afraid of taking the birth control because of the horrible side effects I've had in the past from it (mostly terrible anger, followed by complete apathy). Should I just take the birth control that the doctor prescribed? How important is it that this polyp disappears, if there even is one?
have been taking Junel Fe 1/20 (28 day) hormonal birth control since November 2017. I am currently still taking it and have had normal periods throughout my time on the pill during the placebo (iron pills) week. I should probably also add that I am a stickler for taking my pills at the same time for pregnancy prevention since I am a student in college. I take my pill every night at 10:15 pm exactly. Here's where my concern comes in.
I've been taking Junel Fe birth control for almost 4 months now. On April 14th I took my pill 4 1/2 hours late. On April 20th me and my boyfriend were fooling around and he only out the tip in for about a min. And we did that like twice. He didn't ejaculate inside of me. He pulled out way before. April 25th I went to go wipe and it was some blood then turned into a very light brown discharge (not enough for a pad or anything) my period starts in 8-9 days. Should I be worried?
