Has anyone heard of any reactions to ibuprofen while pregnant?
Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
I had a really bad headache yesterday and took 6 200mg ibuprofen tablets ( 2 every 4 hours 3 times) and then I found out today your not suppose to take ibuprofen. I'm really worried, will everything be okay?

Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped.
The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.
I took tylenol this morning. I took Ibuprofen an hour ago . I coudnnt take it anymore. It was a one time thing and i feel so much better. Will my baby be okay?

Sleep seems to be a big one in our recovery,151 days and I still have a few restless nights here and there.

hi,i had a gastric bypass 1 yr ago and my mom had hers 3yrs ago ,she uses ibprufen all the time for her pain and the dr prescribed it knowing about her g-bypass,also i take it on and off if i have very bad headache etc and never had any probs,i think the prob is if you take it every day for long eriod of time and thats not good for anyone never mind us as it can damage ur insides,so it goes for every one,but to take it on and off is fine,i asked my dr.
No explanation for how that happened between the first surgery and second . . . but anyway, he uses a netti pot religiously. He will use Mucinex to thin mucus in sinuses. Ibuprofen to reduce swelling. All of these things help. What is your doctor recommending?
Birth control uses hormones, and they can actually cause problems you may be quite unhappy with. You could get relief by taking magnesium 500 mg every morning and calcium with vitamin D every night. Then start taking ibuprofen about two weeks before you are expected to start. Take two pills every day for about 3 days. If you time it right, it can reduce the pain during your period quite significantly.
If you take then daily, for long enough, yes, you will have physical withdrawal. Addiction is progressive, when an addict uses again, it can take weeks to get back to where they took years to get the first time. Luckily it is 6 months away. Work on the mental/emotional part of addiction, and it will not be nearly as hard. Maybe you won't need them. Many get by with ibuprofen after surgery.
