hypoglycemia

709686 tn?1277432159 Your symptoms suggest not diabetes, but hypoglycemia, except for the joint and muscle pain, at least I never had the joint and muscle pain.
787406 tn?1339203183 My symptoms are muscle pain, muscle spasms, joint pain and now just 3 days ago muscle twitching in rib area. I also get intermittent double vision and blurred vision. I just went through a neck MRI today, and Neuro Opthamologist and Neurologist are scheduling a muscle biopsy. I had a normal EMG and Nerve Conduction test. And CPK was normal as well as aldolase and lactic acid were normal. Has anyone with Myositis had these symptoms with their Myositis?
Avatar f tn My daughter (15) has been experiencing severe joint pain in her knees since around 6 years of age which has progressively become worse. She has reported in the last 3 years or so that she has been dizzy and nauseated. She often becomes nauseated and gags but usually does not throw up. We found her face-down on the computer keyboard this weekend. She had fainted from a sitting position. I assume she fainted. She was unconscious.
Avatar f tn Thanks, Ticked, for the support. To answer your question, the pain is not joint or muscle pain. It feels like I banged my shin -- the bones feel tender if pressed, as if I had bruised them. Sometimes, they will ache. It's only the bones below my knees and the tops of my feet. I wonder if it's a circulatory problem (I sit at a computer all day for work). My left ankle also swells like you wouldn't believe.
Avatar f tn The dizzy sensations were more pronounced, and I had a pain in my side that I was afraid might be the beginning of a kidney stone pain. Then I noticed that it hurt worse when I took a deep breath and so thought it might just be a pulled muscle (I do have 3 kids that like to be held). The pain kinda spread around my whole midsection: abdomin and ribs. When I got home, I felt very flu-ish again and had a low grade fever around 100.
414383 tn?1217215569 You have also mentioned of joint pains, hypoglycemia and thyroid problems. Infections have to be ruled out here first. The joint pains may be a focus of the infection. If redness and swelling are noted in the joints then autoimmune disease and viral infections need to be ruled out. Have you been worked up by an internist lately? I feel that you need to be assessed by an infectious disease specialist.
1033336 tn?1252506131 It did help to ease the pain but was not complete. Following then onwards, I have experince pain trobbing at the back, in between the joint of knees, in between the hip joint, upper and lower both of the legs, at the joints of the arms, in between fingers, at the palm of hands and feet. Am i suffering from fibromyalgia? Do i need to do a full body check-up for diagnosis?
Avatar n tn In her case, we now think they are illness related as it happened in the hosp with the gallbladder pain, etc. and a week ago at school and yesterday was at the Dr for an ear/sinus infection which is dragging her down. Keep us posted. I'm glad you have an answer but no cure yet!

Avatar n tn We were TRYING to go to sleep when SUDDENLY, for NO REASON AT ALL, my inner thighs got terrible crams, then ALL THE TOES on my left foot, and then the anterior side of my left lower leg. It was HORRIFIC! I was screaming in pain. I was getting nauseated. I was BEGGING him to call 911. I got the phone and put the numbers in but could not stop screaming to call. Again, he refused to call for me. (I think he was embarassed to call and say I was having leg cramps).

710056 tn?1229221706 She is usually very active and in overall good health except for having several joint replacement surgeries, a slight lack of balance and being diabetic. She says she has been checking her blood sugar and it has been normal. She has very little energy particularly in the morning. What could be the cuase of this?
Avatar f tn This was a moment of my life where I recall experiencing water retention, severe fatigue, and rapid weight loss at one point. Furthermore, I experienced bone (or joint pain), and what appeared to be shrinking bone mass from my clavicle region and hip bones, although this appeared to stop shortly after. The real trouble began when I felt 'zoned out' one day in a university lecture. I had a meal before this including a sugary beverage.
Avatar f tn I am in my early 40s and started with several symptoms over two years - metallic taste in my mouth, weight gain, and right before my monthly menstraul cycle -- extremely swollen sensitive breast with a viginia irritation (no itching). Also, joint pain in my fingers, and joint stiffness in my low back, ankles, and hips. In addition, I have a sinus/allergy problem which sometimes causes fluid to develop in my right ear.
Avatar f tn In the last six months I have had joint pain in my hands, feet, ankles, knees, lower back, so bad that some days I can barely walk, or even grasp anything with my hands. I was referred to a rheumatologist who ran all the tests - RA, lupus, etc, which all came back negative. I was put on prednisone for a week and noticed dramatic improvement. Therefore my rheumatologist says it is definitely an inflammatory arthritis. I am now on Lodine, and Sulfasalazine. They seem to be helping somewhat.
Avatar n tn Hi, I have reactive hypoglycemia. One of the best websites to learn about hypoglycemia is reactivehypoglycemia.net. I don't think it's possible to grow out of hypoglycemia. I'm a teenager and I've had it since I was two or so. I really wish though!!

Avatar f tn I started having joint pain a couple of weeks after gall bladder surgery. It is continually getting worse and in my shoulders, wrists and right jaw. My left hip joint has gotten better. The pain hurts really bad at night when I am laying and try to move my arms. I am also having trouble chewing with my jaw in pain. I am 63 years old and a Real Estate Agent. I never had a pain at all until after the surgery. I have always been in good health and don't drink or smoke.
Avatar f tn Joint pain refers to discomfort, aches, and soreness in any of the body's joints. Joint pain is a common complaint, and does not typically require a hospital visit. Arthritis is a frequent cause of joint pain.
Avatar f tn I got diagnosed with hsv2 last fall. After continual outbreaks my doc finally put me on suppression therapy. I've had weight gain depression and now joint pain. It's a 6 month dose and one month to go. Does the joint pain go away after dosage is done? Does the weight come off? I exercise regularly and eat properly. Depression I know is a mental battle. I just don't like the joint pain as I'm trying to get this weight off.
634590 tn?1293774093 As you know i took 20mg isotretinoin for 15 days and pain started in my right hip joint.
