In the meantime walking can help reduce cramping and warm moist heat can also be beneficial. I hope you will let us know how she is doing. I wish you both the very best. I'll look forward to hearing from you again.
Avatar n tn I have been on Coreg, Enapril and Hydrochlorothiazide, for the past three years. During this time my legs have started tingling and feet are so sensitive, I can hardly wear shoes. My legs feel cold all the time and pains in my toes when walking sometimes. My knees hurt really bad also. I have been reading about side effects of the Three medications I take, they all mention side effects of pain like the ones I have experienced.
Avatar f tn It feels as if I have walked up a mountain and am STILL doing so - achey and tired legs. I also have bad legs cramps at night (Charlie Horses). Have Cold symptoms - Cough, Sneezing, congestion. Have had Chest Xray, Pulmonary Test, Oxygen Level test - ALL OK. NO LUNG DISEASE. Had Treadmill test and EKG - no heart problems. Had Vascular Test - OK. Could LISINOPRIL be the culprit for all of this - especially the COUGH and Heavy Leg Syndrome? PLEASE HELP! VERY DISTRESSED!

Avatar n tn It took a few days post-op (and taking calcium supplements) for the tingling and cramps to go away. My endo told me to stay on calcium/Vitamin D/magnesium/zinc supplements the rest of my life. Besides, I don't want the calcium getting sucked out of my bones. The thing my family found really helped post-op was to take Viactive calcium. They are soft chews and come in chocolate (and other flavors). They are much easier than swallowing pills right now. We kind of just ate them like candy.

Avatar n tn Amazing! I just thought I would 'Google' my symptoms (left eyelid won't open in the a.m. unless I pry it open--after that, it's OK)... and lo and behold all these other fine people have similar symptoms. There's some comfort in numbers... at least I'm not alone. I have been taking plenty of Vitamin B12 so I doubt it's that. MS is in the family, although I haven't been to a doctor in many years. True, I am under a lot of stress.
Avatar n tn It scares me, especially since my husband had brain surgery less than 2 years ago- (symptoms completely different of course) I am 35 years old, the only time I remember hitting my head really hard is when I was in elementary school and I fell and hit my head on a tile floor. I have had a history of passing out and having seizures but the doctors never figured out for sure what caused it and it hasn't happened for a few years.
