are you checking with the manufactory on cost savings cards? I have been on Humira for over a year and the manufacture subsidies the cost to were i pay 25 a month for two 40m pens.

I have had 5 shots of humira and after the fisrt shot I felt like a scaitica but didn't think it was the now I can fell it go down my left leg, both calves tignly and i feel it in my neck also like spams, is this from teh humira? I called my dr and she idd not seem concerned? it has done wonders for my RA not at this cost. my finger tips fell tingly my clafs there is a pain in my butt that runs down my leg.

I would try getting her meds straight from the company. There are a few websites that offer assistance. My husband is starting Humira (expensive) he get's it free from the company. As her dr about a perscription assistance plan, we like pparx.com...hope this helps, you can also try other companies by typing helping with perscription drug costs in your search engine.

Apparently, Acorda has both a co-pay assistance program and a patient assistance program for the uninsured and underinsured. Anyone taking humira and feel like they are sick coming down with a cold for a week after injection? Not a full blown cold but the start of one. I feel like this always and this is my 3rd dosage ( counting the starter kit), so I'm new to humira. I've noticed if I'm stressed, I'll even get a sore throat. I know humira suppresses your immune system but are you supposed to feel like you're coming down with something every injection or will this go away with time?
