Avatar m tn Try contacting the manufacturer of your medication (will be listed on the box or container) and ask them if they have a patient assistance program - many of them do - and they usually are for either a great discount or even for free.
686769 tn?1236272131 Procter & Gamble has a patient assistance program: http://www.pgpharma.com/patient_assistance.shtml if you can prove that you don't have insurance/$$ to cover the cost of medication, they allow you to get 270 days worth of free medication. it helped me out tremendously... i did it before and received asacol, not sure if asacol will even work for you, but i found it to be more effective than pentasa.
Avatar n tn I am outside the US and need to contact my humira, but cannot call an 800 phone number. Is there any other number that I can call to ask for nurse assistance?
Avatar f tn I would try getting her meds straight from the company. There are a few websites that offer assistance. My husband is starting Humira (expensive) he get's it free from the company. As her dr about a perscription assistance plan, we like pparx.com...hope this helps, you can also try other companies by typing helping with perscription drug costs in your search engine.
Avatar f tn Ask them about baby clothing also.
1622229 tn?1299050798 http://www.bms.com/products/Pages/programs.aspx It took about a week and they have approved me to receive the medication and are shipping it to my home. If anyone is suffering financial hardship and needs medication, I encourage you to fill out the application and get it into them. Good luck and God bless.
764075 tn?1234495599 Yes, I agree with you on Roche. After begging/borrowing $$$ from family for the first 2 shipments of Pegasys from private pharm & insurance. I applied to Roche assistance program and in 2 weeks my first no cost shipment was on it's way. The only complaint that I have is I have to be home to sign for it.
686769 tn?1236272131 You might be able to apply directly to the patient care assistance program for Humira.. Their phone # is: 800-222-6885. It's called Abbott Patient Assistance.. Best wishes to you!
Avatar f tn you have to be offered COBRA is you were covered while you were an employee. I would ask the HR department one last time and if the answer is still the same IMMEDIATELY contact your local MS chapter and ask for their assistance. They have specialists to help with these types of problems. There is a patient co-pay assistance program with Shared Solutions - be sure to talk to them about getting your drug covered.
Avatar f tn Because she has sleeping issue and is late alot, and because she has ibs and has had to be dosed in the car or go in after an accident, she is being kicked off the program. She is on 120mg and will be detoxed in 30 days. I am not saying that she was not in the wrong about things but this is very sudden. She has no income--I have been trying to pay her insurance and methadone fees myself as she cannot work and has exhausted short term disability benefits.
333672 tn?1273792789 Apparently, Acorda has both a co-pay assistance program and a patient assistance program for the uninsured and underinsured. There are some details at http://brassandivory.blogspot.com/2010/02/annual-price-for-ampyra-set-at-12850.html with more info in the comments. And yes, the base price for a 30-day supply is $1,056. The way the co-pay program works is that if your co-pay is more than $40, Acorda will pay the difference so the patient's max out-of-pocket is $40.
Avatar f tn Anyone taking humira and feel like they are sick coming down with a cold for a week after injection? Not a full blown cold but the start of one. I feel like this always and this is my 3rd dosage ( counting the starter kit), so I'm new to humira. I've noticed if I'm stressed, I'll even get a sore throat. I know humira suppresses your immune system but are you supposed to feel like you're coming down with something every injection or will this go away with time?
Avatar f tn On another thread here, Mojogal has kindly posted the names of two resources that may be able to help financially with diagnosis/treatment of Lyme. Information is reposted below to highlight it. See the websites for full information. (Thanks, Mojo!
158939 tn?1274915197 I've just had my 2nd injection of Humira today (on 20mg, 2x month). Both times I've had no energy and felt bad for about 12 hours after the injection. Anyone else have this type of reaction to the injection?
Avatar m tn Of course it seems a lot of folks have the same questions you do after reading humira info online - found a lot of questions asking if humira causes herpes. If you already have herpes simplex, either orally or genitally, it could cause it to reactivate. Most people never get tested for herpes to know that they have it.
Avatar f tn I personally have no experience with suboxone, but drug manufacters all have some kind of assistance program. You have to meet certain income parameters and all that, but it IS available. Check online or ask your pharmacist if they have an 800 number for the manufacturer. It won't hurt to make a phone call and see if they have an assistance program. Good luck!
4461995 tn?1357955108 And they even have other referral programs to help with the cost if you are on government insurance that keeps you from using their regular assistance program. Make the call and keep asking to speak to someone who can help if you get negative responses from the intial calls.
