I was on Lo Lo Estren and it was perfect but insurance wanted a generic so I was given a generic for Yaz. Now I am losing my mind! I am super anxious all the time and suddenly jealous of every woman that my husband works with. I obsess over silly things that I would never worry about before. I am switching back ASAP but I was wondering if anyone else has been through this with Yaz as well. I don't know how long I can take this until the pill is out of my system!

I have been extremely exhausted and all I want to do is eat. At first I thought it was depression and then my breasts started to get tender and more full. They hurt to the point where I can't even hug someone tight or move around to much without noticing the pain. I have never experienced pain/tenderness in my breasts with my periods. The last time I can remember them hurting was when I was 12 and just getting them! If I was pregnant it would have happened 6 weeks ago.

We are like diabetes and have to control our insulin levels, I just lost 26 pounds and my life us. So much better. I have Kaiser insurance and Doc. Carr is the best I am sure by now she know most want her on b.c pills to regulate and ez pain zovia helped me the most . Hope she feels better..

I just received my first bill for Copaxone. They are billing my insurance company over $3K monthly, which is much higher than the monthly cost I had heard others discuss on the forum. My copay would normally be $250, but I somehow qualified for a financial assistance program in which Shared Solutions will cover all of my copay except for $35/month. I have no idea what I did to qualify, since there was no application. It's all quite strange.

The ones covered by insurance we don't see the price they send it straight to the ins. company.

Is there a possibility that I could be pregnant? Or is it the pills and the fact my body is getting used to the pills and getting used to the IUD not being there anymore?

it almost sounds like the anxiety is sticking around, possibly due to a fear reaction of how the intital Yaz-related anxiety made you feel. That can happen...there can be a medical or medication related anxiety that ends up morphing into chronic reactive anxiety. Have you ever had trouble with anxiety or depression BEFORE taking the Yaz? If so, what kinds of treatments, if any...did you try?

I used to take YAZ a long time ago. Got pregnant and had a miscarriage. If I were you I would stop taking YAZ. It's been all over TV on how bad it is for you. Look it up. YAZ is the worst birth control out there and has done a lot of damage. I switched to the NUVA RIng. No weight gain, no chemicals, stays in for one month. I take mine out during intercourse, but it's still affective for three hours.

That is wonderful news! I always cringe when I have to go pick up a new prescription as you just never know. I try not to think about how much I spend on meds each month!

I'm on YAZ, and so is my roommate, and we both have trouble with being dry. I actually had to buy lube because it was such an issue. I only switched from Seasonele because of the money, but I'm thinking of going back because of the Yaz side effects. I didnt have any on Seasonele, and I found out that its the same thing as Seasonique (except Seasonique has hormones in the "placebo" pills) and Seasonique is covered by a state program... hopefully everything will work out!

By the way, read what it says on bottle of how much you can take a day. Like 6 a day.... that's maximum how much you can take a day. Hope that helps.

i've stopped taking it for now and i'm seeing how that goes. i think if anything changes I'll have to break down and go to the doctor (which will be interesting, b/c there is maybe ONE endocrinologist in this town ,and he is a diabetes specialist.) Anyway, just so everyone knows, I don't have illegal prescription thyroid or anything like levothyroxine..

m now convinced that the pill messes with your hormones SO much, taking over your bodies natural ability to regulate how much of each hormone is produced, etc. So, yeah, when you're on the thing it's great but if the effect is inevitably going to deem your hormones incapable of balancing themselves, is it worth it?

Removed it 3 days ago and was put on Yaz. Doctor ordered I start same day with Yaz in the silver section, however, there isnt a Tuesday silver section pill. She said I must start on Wednesday. Well I took Yaz for 3 months and at the end my fiancee kindly asked me to switch, because I was so depressed and crying over everything. My body hurt so much also, headaches, stomach, then I started asking my girlfriends about it - all of them that tried it, got off it very quickly. But it might effect you differently..
