1831849 tn?1383228392 I just received my first bill for Copaxone. They are billing my insurance company over $3K monthly, which is much higher than the monthly cost I had heard others discuss on the forum. My copay would normally be $250, but I somehow qualified for a financial assistance program in which Shared Solutions will cover all of my copay except for $35/month. I have no idea what I did to qualify, since there was no application. It's all quite strange.
Avatar f tn Hi- I am a 17 year old girl and I have been on birth control pills for a little over a year and a half now. I was originally prescribed Ortho-Tricyclen Lo but was switched to Kariva in May of this year because it was said to be the "less expensive generic brand" of Tricyclen Lo. I always felt a little more irritable and noticed my skin got a little more sensitive when I originally started taking the pill, but nothing too bad.
Avatar f tn The ones covered by insurance we don't see the price they send it straight to the ins. company.
Avatar f tn I didnt really know where else to put this, but does anyone know how much is the general cost that it would be to go see someone for help?
Avatar f tn That is wonderful news! I always cringe when I have to go pick up a new prescription as you just never know. I try not to think about how much I spend on meds each month!
Avatar n tn By the way, read what it says on bottle of how much you can take a day. Like 6 a day.... that's maximum how much you can take a day. Hope that helps.
1063764 tn?1272821064 m trying to figure out if the levothyroxine is the cause. My endocrinologist told me that my thyroid function was normal without the medication but I am taking it because I have nodules (the medication slows down their growth.) Which leads me to believe that I have an overproduction of hormones in my system. I am also on the birth control pill Kariva.
Avatar f tn Now my eyes are aching and the tissue behind the eye is growing over it and I was asking how much it would cost to do the surgery to take the tissue out. So does anyone know how much for the orbital decompression surgery? Thanks.
2093716 tn?1344094995 t have the right kind of referral but once we submitted some special paperwork they reduced the charges to $40, a big difference. Check on how your insurance works now before you get another big bill...I've had that heart attack from the bill too.
930762 tn?1244407904 It will depend on your medical coverage. I'd call your insurance company and ask them how much they cover and how much you'd have to cover. For me, I'm paying my OB about $300 for prenatal care (the rest is covered by my insurance) and the hospital bill will be taken care of. So everyone is different. Having a baby is just one of those things that you may feel you'll never be prepared to pay for but in the end I know it will be alright. They should allow payment plans, etc.
Avatar f tn Do you have insurance? That is the place to start. What you should do though in the mean time is make minimal payments to the facility that says you owe money. I had a discrepancy when I had my first child and had to go through appeal and during that time, I mailed them 15 dollars a month. That way I wasn't ignoring a bill.
Avatar f tn The alternative would have been the end of me however, I am wondering how much is too much and is there anything I can do to change what has been done or is my DNA ruined forever.
3360193 tn?1365871889 My baby is 19 days old and just wants ti be held constantly when he is not sleeping. I'm happy to cuddle and hold him but i dont want him getting into the habit of constantly being held, and don't want him to be wanting cuddled all the time, how much is too much? can you cuddle a new baby too much?
